If you’re in Spencer, Jit’s Thai Bistro is a must! The Pad Thai lunch special blew me away – it had perfectly balanced flavors, generous portions, and was only $10.99. The egg roll was crispy, the salad fresh, and the noodles were so flavorful. Easily one of the best Thai meals I’ve had in a long time.

This is a fantastic little Thai restaurant on the square of a scenic small southern Indiana town, Spencer, Indiana. The food here was excellent. The server was very nice and professional. The place was very clean and well kept. It is easy to find using Google Maps. There is plenty of parking along the city streets. There are parking meters but they are mostly inoperable.

Staff is courteous, friendly and efficient. Food is not only delicious but presentation was excellent. Took me back to my time in Hawaii. This is a Jewel in the center of Indiana. If you are anywhere near Spencer, Indiana, this is the place to eat.

Update 05/17/25 Jits has continued to keep prices level food was spectacular as always. Update (12/07/24): Food was excellent value (uodated and much improved based on inflation) is not what I expected. We came back after hearing the prices had stayed pretty much the same. The value for quality is 100% here now.

This place is so good. My favorite restaurant around. Their food is cooked perfectly and they use fresh vegetables, which is a huge plus for me. It’s quiet and very relaxing on the inside. All their food is delicious.

Always delicious! Owners are friendly, good service, clean. Try the egg rolls and Thai tea. They offer dishes at varying levels of spiciness. The menu will have things marked but I always ask, they may be able to adjust the heat for you.

We had a delicious meal. My friend had the Pad Thai, and I had the Drunken Noodles. It is so rare to find ANY Thai food in this part of the state, let alone GOOD Thai food, that we were excited to come across this place while staying at McCormick’s Creek State Park. The portions were so large, we ended up taking about half of each meal home to enjoy tomorrow. Highly recommend!
