Reviews
I tried the Chef’s Special and was delighted at how flavorful it was without being to in your face. I will Definitely be back for more and look forward to Jennifer serving us again!
Our waitress told us of the special going on and she gave some good recommendations!
10/10 will be coming back!
Their ramen soup base was the best and not to over powering with their onions! Loved it!
Atmosphere & Service (Short and Sweet)
The staff here is incredibly vibrant. As soon as you step inside, the entire team greets you in unison with a loud welcome in Japanese—an unexpected detail that immediately sets the tone. The place is always packed during lunch hours, which says a lot. Even when there’s a line, it moves quickly and the staff stays attentive and upbeat.

The Food (Where Jinja Truly Shines)
The Broth
The broth is the soul of their ramen, and Jinja nails it. Rich, deep, and perfectly balanced—flavorful without being overly salty and heavy without feeling greasy. It’s the kind of broth you can taste layers in: slow-simmered, aromatic, and comforting. Every spoonful feels intentional.
Noodles
The noodles taste house-made or extremely close to it. They have that ideal texture: firm, springy, and able to hold the broth without turning mushy. There’s a freshness to them that elevates the entire bowl.
Egg (Ajitama)
Their marinated ramen egg is excellent. Always seasoned well, with a creamy, soft-set yolk that adds richness to each bite. This is one of those details many ramen places get wrong—Jinja gets it right every time.
Pork Belly (Chashu)
The pork belly is outstanding. Tender but with a slight crispiness on the edges, carrying that toasted, caramelized flavor that spreads through the bowl. It simply melts into the broth. The portion is generous, and the quality is consistent across visits.
Rice Bowl
I’ve also tried their pork bowl, and it carries the same flavor integrity: savory, satisfying, and perfectly portioned. It’s a great backup for when you want something different but equally comforting.

✔️ Final Verdict
Jinja Ramen is the kind of place I could easily eat at every day.
The broth, noodles, toppings, and the energy of the staff all come together to create a memorable experience. Delicious, consistent, and absolutely worth the wait if there’s a line.
Highly recommended—100% a top ramen spot in Spring.
