We came in for lunch with a large party and the staff were accommodating. The appetizers came out quickly and were delicious. All the ramen came out together and was just the right temperature. I got the tonkatsu original and enjoyed it! The egg was perfectly done and the extra thick noodles were great. I would recommend checking this place out!

This was perfect place to spend my birthday! My drink and food were amazing, the Birria Ramen was perfectly seasoned and flavored, I added seasoned egg and mushrooms. The crunchy cucumber salad and Spicy Tuna over Crispy Rice was amazing as well! The staff were very nice and attentive! I’ll definitely be back!

Cute place with a nice menu good service and a very cool drink selection. The atmosphere is great.

I ordered the eggplant appetizer, which was good no complaints there. I also ordered the spicy chicken ramen, but it was disappointing for the price. It was quite expensive and lacked flavor, which was surprising. For the high price, I expected something better than average, but it was the opposite.

Every additional topping costs extra ($2–$3 and more), which adds up quickly. With ramen priced this high, I think customers should be allowed at least 3–4 toppings included.

I don’t think I’ll return for the ramen because the price , but I might come back for drinks.

I had a wonderful lunch at JINYA. The atmosphere was clean and inviting, and the staff provided friendly, attentive service. I ordered the lunch special of Karaage Chicken Ramen and Crispy Rice Spicy Tuna, which was a delightful surprise-incredibly crispy and full of flavor. To top it off, the bill was transparent with no unexpected fees. A thoroughly satisfying visit!

My wife and I took an impromptu date night to Jinya and had a great time. The service was good but could have been quicker. They did not seem busy but it felt slower that other Jinya’s I’ve been to. The chicken was a bit too fried in my opinion but that Birria ramen was on point. My wife loves Jinya so we will most likely be back soon.

I had such a great experience at Jinya in Union Market! The Brussels sprouts were perfectly breaded and packed with flavor, definitely a must-try. We also enjoyed the edamame, which made for a simple and satisfying starter before diving into our ramen.

We ordered the Spicy Chicken Ramen and the Spicy Vegan Ramen, and both were absolutely delicious. I recommend swapping the thin noodles for the thick ones on the chicken ramen as it makes the bowl even more comforting and hearty. And for the vegan option, adding an egg takes it to the next level. Love that they have flavorful choices for everyone!

The space is cozy and inviting, especially on a cold day, and the staff was kind and welcoming. Plus, the Union Market area is adorable. It’s perfect for a stroll, a little shopping, or discovering a fun activity nearby.

Highly recommend this place! The Lycheetini was really good, and there are several vegan/vegetarian options to choose from. We both got the harvest ramen and it was 10/10. Will definitely be back the next time I’m in DC

The food was good, but the vibe was weird! I bought my son here because he loves ramen and it was close to our house. We gave the waitress some grace when we arrived because it was a little crowded. The host didn’t know where people were sitting and we shuffled around two tables until we were told it was ok to sit at the third table. Once seated it took a while to be greeted; however when we were approached, we knew what we wanted to eat. We ordered our food and received it , but didn’t see our waitress again until I asked the female host did our server leave. Minutes later she magically reappeared and told us she was in the back making sauces. Her tip suffered because she chose to work in the back of the house instead of serving her table.

Dined on a Sunday right after they opened. We were seated upstairs. The staff did some type of chant or greeting in unison. It was cute. The waitress was nice. I asked her for recommendations as it was our first time there. She seemed pretty knowledgeable of the menu. I ordered the Chicken Jinya ramen bowl. It was tasty. There are some sauces you can add at the table for extra flavor. You also have the option to add other toppings when selecting your ramen. Overall the experience was great. Great food, great service, great atmosphere. Dont be shy to ask for a fork if you need one.
