Reviews
This Japanese ramen bar sets the standard for excellence and is, without question, the best in Southern California. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is inviting, authentic, and thoughtfully designed—perfect for both casual dining and true ramen enthusiasts.
The ramen itself is exceptional. The broth is rich, deeply flavorful, and perfectly balanced, clearly the result of time, care, and mastery of the craft. The noodles have the ideal texture, and every topping—from the tender, perfectly seasoned chashu to the fresh garnishes—elevates the bowl to an elite level. Each bite reflects quality ingredients and true attention to detail.
Service is equally impressive: professional, friendly, and efficient, with staff who genuinely care about the guest experience. Everything arrives promptly and exactly as ordered, making the entire visit seamless and enjoyable.
If you are looking for authentic, high-quality Japanese ramen, this place is a must-visit. It stands well above the rest and deserves recognition as the best ramen bar in Southern California. Highly recommended.
The food is incredible — the Spicy Chicken Ramen and Tonkotsu Black Ramen are packed with flavor, the JINYA Bun is soft and savory perfection, and the sample platter is a must-try if you want to taste a little bit of everything. Whether you’re here for a quick lunch, happy hour, or celebrating a birthday, it always feels lively, comfortable, and family-oriented.
They even remember returning guests by face, which makes it feel so personal — something you don’t find often anymore. Great food, great drinks, and even better people — JINYA never disappoints.
Our waitress was Paris and I thought she was okay. I had to remind her like three time to get a fork for my wife. We all went with the spicy chicken ramen, my wife and I got ours at spicy level. My mom got her spicy chicken ramen at mild which is no spice and my sister got the dumplings. They use the paper recycle straw here so be aware, it’s not my favorite especially when drinking with a soda.
The ramen did take a while to come out but my sisters dumplings for whatever took even longer when it’s just an appetizer. The dumplings didn’t come out until we were done eating our ramen. I thought the ramen portion was small and you don’t get of sides like other ramen places. So you’ll have to pay extra for like eggs or mushroom. For the price I would expect more but it was good to try once. The service was kind of slow maybe because we were seated outside.
Plenty of ingredients with the ramen.
Have to try the eggplant! Gyoza was also fresh, crispy and juicy.
Service staff were very kind and friendly too, and the ambience was nice
