Very cute spot. There is also free parking walking distance from the restaurant. A little pricey. Got two ramen bowls, and Gyoza as an appetizer, along with two soft drinks which was $55. However despite the price I would come again. Service was fast, servers were nice, food was great, and staff doesn’t rush your table like other restaurants. Great menu selection as well!

Great place and awesome food. The spicy vegan ramen was flavorful with the best tofu I have ever had!

I tried the Jinya Tonkotsu Black, spice level Inferno and it was delicious! The broth was so rich with flavor and I loved the ramen bowl includes a whole seasoned egg, not just a half. The Inferno level was pretty intense but not overwhelmingly spicy. So if you like your food with an extra-extra kick like I do, go for it, or try the next level double Inferno! Just an FYI my lips were burning after the meal but it was worth it to me.

How good was it. On a visit to Houston, I ate here twice. Not once and move on to next place. The pork ramen black was amazing. Spicy or mild to survive. Higher if you can handle it.

Upscale downtown ramen bar with delectable appetizers, suggest the “buns”. Thick and thin noodle options with varying strength sauces from mild to spicy to hot, and thin to creamy depending on your mood. Many additions to increase your soup bounty, at a cost each of course.

My go-to spot for Ramen. I always get the Tonkotsu Black and it never does me wrong. If you like it a little spicier, like I do, you can request additional heat levels when you order. I always find it better that way, than adding it in myself with hot chili sauce on the side. For whatever reason, it’s better why they do it.

My aunt recommended this place to me so a friend and I tried it last week. This was my first time having ramen, so I didn’t know what to expect. We both ordered the spicy chicken ramen after the waitress told us it was a popular dish. Honestly, for $17 I felt that it was nothing spectacular. The broth was tasty and well seasoned but i was left wanting more. It came with noodle, 2 slices of chicken, and the veggies seen in the photo. I realized later that you have to pay for each additional topping that you want. Maybe my expectations were too high but if I did come back I would likely try another dish. The drinks weren’t that strong either. On the bright side, the waitress was friendly and the inside was nice. Our food came out really quickly and it was steaming hot. This would be a cute place for date night if you’re looking to try something different.

My daughter and I visited Jinya in Midtown and had the best meal we have had in a long time! I had the shrimp and pork wonton ramen and it was incredibly flavorful. We could have easily split a bowl- but ended up carrying home half of our entrees! the Bao appetizer was amazing as well. The server was attentive, friendly and I would highly recommend this restaurant!
