Everything was delicious from the appetizers to the ramen. The Spicy Creamy V Ramen broth was packed with flavor. The noodles were thick and my friends really enjoyed their food as well and said the Lycheetini was really good. We had e a great dinner and would come back again.
I also got the Salmon Poke Tacos. It was very tasty.
For my main dish, I ordered the Spicy Chicken Ramen. Wow, it was delicious.
We’ve been to JINYA Ramen Bar in downtown Chandler several times now, and let me just say… this place is hands-down serving some of the BEST vegan ramen in the entire Phoenix area. I’m not exaggerating we’ve done our rounds, and JINYA is consistently delicious.
They have a handful of vegan options, but the ones they do have are so good, it almost doesn’t matter. We’ve only been to the downtown Chandler location (they have others, including a bigger new location in Peoria), but every time lunch or dinner it hits. The kids love it, we love it, and apparently everyone else loves it too, because this spot stays packed.
Our forever go-tos:
• Vegan Gyoza (Goizos), the dumplings are so good we order one per person. No sharing.
• Flying Vegan Ramen, spicy, flavorful, rich, perfect. It’s the star.
• Strawberry Lemonade, not made in house, but still delicious ask for light on the ice.
• House Salad, generous portion, savory dressing, simple but really good.
One HUGE shout-out to Gage, our host. He was phenomenal the kind of customer service that makes you feel like you’ve been assigned your very own hospitality guardian angel. Checked on us, made sure we had what we needed, and genuinely made the experience better.
Now… the eggplant appetizer. Listen. It is not labeled vegan (our mistake), and the flavor is very… ocean-forward. Think seaweed, fishy, marine life energy. Not for us. At all. Zero stars for the eggplant, five stars for the ramen.
A few things to know:
• The downtown Chandler location is tiny. Expect a 20–40 minute wait.
• If you can make a reservation, do it.
• There’s a little outdoor seating you might get in faster if you choose that route.
• This is a “treat yourself” kind of spot. For two adults, plan on spending over $100 (two ramen bowls + dumplings + drinks). But honestly? Worth it.
Bonus: They have a rewards program that doesn’t harass you with spam, and you get a free ramen bowl on your birthday. The points add up quickly highly recommend signing up because if you like ramen, you will be back.
Downtown Chandler itself is a cute area to walk around before or after your meal, so it’s a nice date-night vibe too.
Overall? We love JINYA and everyone we take there does too. Great food, great service, fun location, and the best vegan ramen we’ve found in the Valley so far. Highly recommend, just skip the eggplant.
