Parking was very limited and the majority is a parking garage for free or paid street parking around Perkins Rowe. Very walkable though so do not be afraid to park a few streets away as long as you are still in Perkins Rowe.
Walking into Jinya was like being transported into a ramen bar in Osaka. The smells of broth and chili oil are a welcoming warmth that invites you to come sit. The music was a touch loud but did not really detract from the experience.
The service was great. Our server was Katie and she really delivered on the hospitality. Very attentative and understanding when we asked about menue options. The restaurant wasn’t bustling busy but had several full tables and she still was attentative and engaged with not only us but it seemed for all her tables. Get it, Katie!
The food was spectacular. I got the premium tonkotsu red with a spice level of 5. On a 1-10 spice scale 5 was a great middle ground it had my face tingling and my nose running but wasn’t unbearable. The flavors of the broth blended super well with the pork, egg, and mushroom. Very earthy and a big blast of umami. The Thick noodles were very slurpable, I definitely prefer over the thin noodles.
Overall, great experience good atmosphere and steller service. 8/10

My mom & I had a little happy hour moment at Jinya Ramen. It’s been quite some time since we last eaten there. They did surprisingly added & removed most dishes on the menu. During happy hour, my mom tried their matcha lychee lemonade. It came in a glass w/ a lychee on stick, a lemon wedge (w/ stamped logo on lemon lol), edible orchid; & as the server came over to pour in the fresh matcha into the cocktail to enjoy. We tried their salmon appetizer (it was served as raw sushi). It was quite delicious, a little spicy but worth trying something new. I ordered their Jinya Chicken Ramen as for my mom ordered some kind of poke dish ( I didn’t take pic of her dish); but it’s ok she enjoyed until she ended up w/ leftovers. We had enough room for dessert; so we couldn’t wait to share on their matcha tiramisu… WORTH EVERY SCOOP! When I say ; “it’s not too sweet “, it means IT’S DELICIOUS. Everything overall was excellent. Also Jinya has an app for regulars to build points; so keep it !

This is my third time visiting this restaurant and it’s always a great visit!
Cesar is very helpful and thoughtful. I couldn’t drink anything cold so I asked for a hot water and he made sure I can drink it right away by giving me a lukewarm which is perfect! Happy belly and satisfied with the service! I gave him more than enough tip! ❤️

This was our first time visiting this Restaurant in Baton Rouge as we were shopping around the area and saw they had Birria ramen. The food was amazing! We got the Jinya Bun as an appetizer and it was delicious. We also did try to Birria ramen and it was 10/10. The birria was nice and tender and the portion of the ramen was perfectly filling. Their green tea mochi was also delicious which we got for free by simply signing up for their Rewards. Our server Amethyst was amazing and helpful and answered all our questions and made it a good experience overall. We’d definitely come back.

First time dining in, and it did not disappoint. I ordered the Tokyo Yatai Classic—the chef’s special—and it was absolutely delicious. Lanna was incredible! She welcomed us so warmly and walked us through everything with so much care and enthusiasm. Highly recommend!

I went to go eat around lunch time and my server’s name was Eric! He was absolutely wonderful and everything I could’ve asked for. My drink was below half full, and my food came out within 15 minutes. Everything tasted delicious, which is likely because Eric was bringing it. His sheer aura was enough to raise everyone’s spirits, and eating with his service felt like an ascension to heaven. I’m writing this review next to cherub angels and my only complaint is that his angelic halo was a bit bright for me. He even offered extra service by cleansing my soul!! Was very appreciated, I definitely recommend!
