We went Labor weekend for the all you can eat crab legs . They were seasoned to perfection! I told the cashier the cooks need a raise. They staff was helpful and very friendly. The food was amazing! The atmosphere in relaxing . My favorite are the lamp shades over the tables. They also have huge fish all over the restaurant. Definitely a must stop and see kind of spot! I can’t wait to go back.

Fried onion rings amazing—but only available as an appetizer. Totally worth it.
Fried shrimp and fried gator baskets. Wanted oysters but weren’t told they were unavailable until well after we ordered.
Both shrimp and gator were over-fried and chewy. The crispy-soft sweet potato fries were so good.
Key lime pie not traditional… more of a modern Jello-whipped-version, but still tasty.
Draft beers are 2 for 1 at $3.25 a pint.
Great value. Very friendly service. Tons of regulars and repeat customers. Serving staff very friendly.
Older facilities, so don’t go for the ambience. Great value for lunch stop.

I used to come here as a kid on vacation to Jekyll back in the 90s and early 2000s. I am happy to report nothing has changed since back then, and that’s a good thing! Same delicious seafood at a good price. No frills, just good food and a dependable experience. Have to stop here any time you’re near the Golden Isles. Oh, also now that I’m not a kid, they have great drink specials as well!

The restaurant is neither big nor small. We visited for lunch on the weekend, and the place was packed. The server was incredibly friendly and very busy running around. The service was very satisfying. The fried shrimp and fried fish were delicious, but the sides of green beans, mushrooms, and peaches… could they have been serving canned food? I hope not, but that’s how it tasted. The cocktails were good, and the key lime pie and pecan pie we had for dessert were not what we expected.

We have given Jinwright’s 3 chances in the last couple of years and we will not be back. Each time the seafood has been greasy and overcooked. Had to wait a good long time to place our order, but it was Valentine’s Day. Had to go and ask for silverware, baked potatoes were not hot enough to melt butter, sent back and asked them to microwave, which took a while, never returned with water refill, and the waitress gave me another ticket while my husband was waiting in line to pay the first one she gave us and to request a to go box. Was wanting to support a seafood place in Brunswick but St Simons or Darien will have our business.

Very bad experience today. The lady at the register got our order wrong so I had to wait for another plate to go. She really did not know what she was doing or was just not trained properly. What really made the trip bad was how rude she was. It is not that important to me because I will never go back but I do like to call out really good and really bad experiences.

We enjoyed eating here more than any other seafood restaurant we have tried in the area. The next time we’re staying on St. Simon’s Island, we will drive over here to eat good seafood! The staff was so friendly & sweet too. We look forward to our next visit! I highly recommend this locally owned seafood restaurant for your next meal!

Excellent seafood, plentiful portions, and great service – the shrimp were nice and crunchy, the tartar & cocktail sauces great, and the coleslaw excellent! The deviled crab was pretty much standard. The collards, mac & cheese, and hush puppies were VERY good! They also have a well equipped bar. 😀 The waitress kept our glasses full and met all our demands for condiments, etc. with a smile & quick service. We really enjoyed our seafood experience and family friendly atmosphere!
