However, during my second visit, I felt a bit disappointed. The meat quality wasn’t as good as the first time, and for $145+ for two people, it didn’t feel worth the price. Some of the better meat options were limited to one order only, and the overall food selection wasn’t very diverse.
That said, the service was still good, and the restaurant has a nice atmosphere. I hope the quality can be more consistent in the future.
Had an amazing experience! The food was incredibly flavourful — everything came out quick and perfectly seasoned. What really made the visit special was our waiter, Fuji. He was so attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed the entire time. His service truly elevated the meal.
Highly recommend this place if you want delicious BBQ and great service. I’ll definitely be coming back!
Nothing beats a hearty BBQ feast after a good workout—it tastes so much better! The cold appetizers, especially the fish skin, were delicious. My friend was a little bummed they were out of soft-shell crab, but we still managed to order so much that we almost couldn’t finish it all.
Since it was late, the soft-serve ice cream machine was already closed. The staff kindly offered us individual ice cream tubs instead. However, a major “oops” moment—my friend realized the ice cream was actually expired only after eating it! Definitely a reminder to double-check the labels!
The service was exceptional as our waiter regularly minded our table, ensuring we have clean plates, a clean grill and enough refreshments. Cooking the meat over hot burning coals was truly an experience.
We arrived shortly before dinnertime and were lucky to be seated right away on a Sunday but it seems making a reservation is ideal as it became increasingly busy with a queue out the door.
Overall, I highly recommend Jing Tan and would visit again.
My family and I got the $39.85 deluxe menu, which had a variety of delicious meats, seafood and vegetables. Customer service was excellent and the staff were very attentive.
Unfortunately, we came in at 9:30PM and the cooking takes some time, so we didn’t get to finish all our food before closing. I highly recommend coming in earlier. And make a reservation as this place gets busy!
Also, shoutout to our server, Rico, who was very diligent and polite.
Will come here again!
The biggest highlight for me was the real charcoal grill, which gave the BBQ a delicious fruitwood aroma. The meat selection is great, mixing Western, Korean, and Chinese styles. I also loved that besides the BBQ, they serve authentic fried rice, Japanese udon, Korean cold noodles, and even Western-style toast.
A perfect mix of flavors with top-notch service. Highly recommend!
Food is SO good! Very fresh, tasty, and reasonably priced for what you get. My favorite AYCE BBQ place.
Love the charcoal grill, definitely adds more character compared to normal bbq places. Service is also very friendly and attentive.
Highly recommend, and can’t wait to revisit again.
We came here expecting more seafood options, however their seafood is very limited. Just squid, shrimp, fish, abalone, and some clams, and such small proportions it’s not really worth it. If you go with mostly meat it’s better. The meat quantity was good and some of the seasoning and sauce was not bad. However that’s about it on what you should grill, which leads to the sides.
The corn cheese was not good, old pieces of corn with over processed cheese on them, did not melt very well either on the grill. The glass noodles and clams was very basic, sauce didn’t really add much. The mushrooms side was just plain mushrooms in butter, was not enjoyable.
Lastly they have a buffet for snacks, but half of it is fried food and heavy snacks. So wasn’t very refreshing from the buffet and the fried food wasn’t particularly good. The ice cream at the end wasn’t to bad, good flavor just weird texture, like sherbet almost.
Would recommend to avoid unless you just want to grill red meat then it works out pretty good
