This was a great experience for Valentine’s Day! Such a cool location with so much history and a beautiful drive. We were glad we chose Jincy’s to celebrate the day! We can’t wait to come back and try other dishes on the menu. This is a place to come to talk and relax, this is not a place to grab a fast meal. Come when you have time to wait for a good home cooked meal, cooked fresh. It’s worth it!

Home Country cooking! I took my family here for dinner. It was like stepping back in time. If you show up, be prepared to wait up to two hours for pain fried chicken, but it’s worth it! This reminds me of my Grandma’s cooking. I loved everything about our visit. Jincy was so warm and kind. The sweet tea was delicious as well. The pies sold out, so we didn’t get to try them, but we will definitely be back!
This place should be on every American’s bucket list!
When we showed up, 2 dogs greeted us, and one even posed in our picture.

I brought my family from Tulsa and enjoyed the drive there. I bragged about the food and atmosphere but today was totally different. We arrived at 12:15 pm and they told us they only had breakfast when we called. We left at 2:30pm. The waitress told us they were out of pancakes, French toast, and something else. The food was so peppered that a small child couldn’t eat it. Gravy, eggs, and potatoes all had course ground pepper all over it. My 18mo old grandson ate only part of a biscuit. It was all a disaster this time. This once was a good place to eat. Instead we left 2 hrs later and took the little one somewhere else to eat. It’s not the same and I really hate to see a good place go downhill.

Old mercantile turned kitchen.. fantastic food, bit of a wait because everything is small batch handmade to order.. make the drive, when you think it couldn’t possibly be there, there it is! We had cfs and cfc w sides and homemade pie!

Home cooking with plenty of time to relax, converse, and enjoy good company.
The food was PERFECTION! Cooked to order and in order of arrival. The portions are huge and everything was delicious. It does take a while to get your food but they said you can call in your order before you arrive too.
People are wonderful and don’t mind chatting and giving new friends a hard time. Loved every minute! ♥️

We went to Jincys for our 30th anniversary. I actually saw the ad on Facebook before Thanksgiving, but I knew we would have to wait until the following week after Thanksgiving because our actual anniversary was the day after. I really got excited because it was the general store from “where the red fern grows ” , my favorite movie. I’ve been looking for it since we moved to Tahlequah. I’m here to tell you that it was well worth the trip. The food was so delicious and plentiful. It felt like we at someone’s house eating a home cooked meal. The staff there made us feel just like that. So if you ever have a hankering for some good home cooked food, then head on over to Jincys Kitchen, you won’t be disappointed.

Called 1 hour ahead & still had to wait 30 minutes for pan fried chicken. Chicken had a lot of fat & 1 piece was burnt. Green beans had several large pieces of fat also. Roll was heavy & over cooked. Mashed potatoes & gravy was great. Not worth $25 for sure. Sorry guys.

Great experience! Be ready to brave some curvy roads to find this little gem! The ladies that ran the kitchen and tables were very nice and chatted with us and even started up the wood stove because it was a little chilly when we arrived. Food was good and if you order a burger be prepared to come hungry because these are some 3/4 to 1 lbs patties!

The restaurant used to be a mercantile, been in same family since 1903. This is 2nd building mercantile from 1930s
The food is home cooked all made from scratch. You order then it’s cooked. So it will take a minute. Like cooking at home. But oh my it’s worth the wait, SO SO GOOD! I highly recommend a visit to eat and learn the history of the area and enjoy some music. You won’t be disappointed . We will definitely be back. It’s worth the drive
