Jincook Korean Restaurant in Yorba Linda is amazing! The mother cooks every dish with fresh ingredients, and the son manages the dining area. The atmosphere feels like a K-drama set, with fun Korean-style decor.

✨ Braised beef short ribs are tender and flavorful.
✨ Fried pork & fish cutlets are crispy outside, juicy inside, and delicious with their special sauce.

Portions are huge, leftovers reheat well, and the space is perfect for family, friends, or dates. Busy on weekends, so weekdays are better.

Came for lunch and there was already a line before opening. The braised short rib with torched cheese was rich and comforting, and I liked that you can choose between spicy and non-spicy. The garlic soy chicken, made with thigh meat and a house-made sauce, was well balanced and not overly sweet. The other dishes we ordered and the banchan were just as satisfying. A solid spot for Korean comfort food in Yorba Linda — would come back.

I visited this restaurant after hearing that Yelp Elites selected it as one of the Top 4 must-try restaurants in Orange County, and it definitely lived up to the hype.

The moment I walked in, the atmosphere felt like I had stepped into a Korean movie set. The interior is beautifully designed and full of Korean vibes, which made the dining experience even more special.

We ordered the Braised Short Ribs (Galbijjim), and one of the highlights was that they torch it with charcoal right at the table, which gave it an incredible smoky aroma. The dish was also topped with a generous amount of cheese, making it both visually stunning and delicious.

We also tried the Chicken Pancake, which I was told is a new menu item. It was AMAZING super crispy and flavorful, and honestly one of my favorite dishes of the night.

The Chicken Noodle Soup was another standout. The broth tasted pure, clean, and comforting, yet still had a deep and rich flavor that felt very authentic.

Portion sizes here are HUGE we couldn’t finish everything and definitely had to pack leftovers to go. The restaurant is also very spacious and large, so it would be a great spot for bigger groups or family gatherings.

Service was friendly and attentive throughout the entire meal, and I was very happy with the overall experience. I’m definitely planning to come back again soon!

We heard on social media about this new Korean restaurant near our place, so we thought we’d give it a shot! From the moment we stepped inside, the vibe was super warm and inviting. Julie, Kathy, and Athan were just the sweetest, making us feel right at home with their genuine friendliness, attentiveness, and kindness that made the whole visit feel special.

We ordered the marinated dumplings (beef inside), garlic soy chicken, and Ddukbokki (we asked for it without the fish cake). The food was absolutely amazing. So flavorful, authentic, and with that comforting, home-cooked touch that’s hard to find anywhere else. The Ddukbokki had a nice kick and an amazing flavor. Plus, when they serve the garlic soy chicken, they finish it off on the table by burning charcoal on top. It was a fantastic touch that added a really good flavor. Every bite tasted like it was made with love and care.

The restaurant itself was spotless, with a refined yet cozy elegance that was evident in every detail, even the bathrooms were impressively clean and thoughtfully designed, adding a touch of class that didn’t go unnoticed.

This place is more than just a restaurant; it feels like being welcomed into someone’s home for a meal they’re proud to share. I’m already looking forward to coming back and enjoying it all over again!

Jincook in Yorba Linda is seriously so good. I kept hearing people rave about it, and now I’m mad I didn’t come sooner. The food comes out fast, tastes super fresh, and is packed with flavor—every bite had me already thinking about the next one.

Portions are solid, ingredients taste really clean, and even the sides were genuinely good (not just filler). Everything was well-seasoned and cooked perfectly, and you can tell they actually care about the quality of their food instead of rushing dishes out.

The restaurant itself is clean, cozy, and has a very welcoming vibe. Service was attentive without being overbearing, which I really appreciated.

Overall, such a great spot whether you’re stopping by for a casual meal or bringing friends. If you’re anywhere near Yorba Linda, this is 100% a must-try. I’ll definitely be back to explore more of the menu—this place has officially earned a spot in my regular rotation.

This new spot is AMAZING! The atmosphere is so charming, the staff is friendly (but do not expect to get checked in with frequently– UPDATE: I brought my family for New Year’s Day dinner and we were checked in with all throughout our meal, so it could be that our initial visit was at an odd hour between lunch and dinner, or could be that my family was a larger party of 8), and the food is incredibly delicious and the portions are fantastic for the price. All of my compliments to the chefs because this is single-handedly the BEST KATSU I have ever had in Orange County. The sweet potato & cheese-stuffed katsu was a new experience for me and had an amazing mix of flavors and textures, but it was the chicken and pork katsu that stole the show; I don’t know how that fluffy, melt-in-your-mouth texture is achieved, but it is incredible and worth the trip alone! We also enjoyed the bulgogi & scallion pancake, which was delicious and fluffy in the best way, and the marinated dumplings, which were savory and juicy!

If you’re looking for authentic Korean comfort food, then Jin Cook is for you! This restaurant is owned and operated by an amazing mother and son duo and you can feel the family warmth once you walk in.

One of the highlights are the Braised Beef short ribs! It’s deeply tender, flavorful and trending for a reason. Each bite is rich and perfectly balanced! Pro tip, add cheese to enhance flavors and for a beautiful cheese pull. Also, order the Garlic SuYuk. The pork belly is incredibly satisfying! This place is the perfect spot for friends and family. They offer generous portions which is perfect for sharing.

What makes Jin Cook even more special? It’s the only Korean restaurant in Yorba Linda!

Second time coming here this time with a larger group. Starting off by saying that the land of gracious living got blessed with an absolute gem. In an unassuming plaza off Yorba Linda blvd, the only thing that stands out about this restaurant from the street is the bustling parking lot. The atmosphere is on point with authentic Korean restaurants reminiscent of my k-town cowboy days of old. The food is a fine representation of good Korean eats, only it’s located in the heart of Yorba Linda. No reservations, so come early and put your name on the list because the popularity of this place will climb, nevertheless only waited 15 min for a large group of 7. Love, the fact that the menu is a paper menu that shows the pictures of the food, this is incredible only to be bested by the flavor, scent, and presentation of the dishes.

Ordered the chicken and pork katsu as well as the LA galbi for the kids, and it’s the best you can get within a 10 mile radius of Yorba linda. Military soup puts a flavorful twist on a home cooked latenight meal. Bulgogi hotstone bibimbap has the perfect blend of ingredients to highlight the flavors topped with a golden egg. Highlight was the spicy braised short rib that had tender bites of brisket, tossed with a mix of veggies and toppoki.

Family loved the meal, and definitely putting this up there as one of the best Asian food spots in Yorba Linda, if arguably not the best. It will be on regular rotation for us.
