Ouija San
Fairly priced Korean restaurant with a polite and efficient staff. We sat down with only one other table there waiting to order. Within minutes the restaurant was full, but we all received our food pretty quickly and there was only ONE server. Food was tasty and the ban chan were a nice addition to our dinner. Another good food option in the Waimalu Shopping Center.

Once u get over the shock of how much food now costs, especially in Hawai’i, you will love this homemade Korean restaurant! My island favorite for Meat Jun used to b Don Yang’s in Wahiawā but after the original owner retired and sold I was at a loss, unless I could convince my friend to make for me on demand ! What I like about this Meat Jin: thin strips that are tender and not chew like some places, distinct flavor (not just Terri beef battered in egg), fresh sides! What I still miss is the crispy edges I used to get at Dong Yang, before. Ah, girl can dream right . Parking is hit or miss depending on time of day. Nothing fancy about the mixed gender toilet. Cozy space.

Today I got to try the Spicy Stir Fried Squid and it was very tasty. Also, the service was very friendly and helpful.

What a scam, underreporting your prices by 50% and you probably claim a loss every year.
How can it be so expensive? Why was the total double the price for this food? $60.63 no tip I will never be back. Unbelievable.
(1) #1 = $20.95
(1) #12 = $14.95
—————
Total = $35.90
Don’t waste your money. We only chose this place bc the Italian place on the corner was closed today.
Still hungry, and $61 less in my pocket book.

Large portions and reasonable prices. The food overall was decent but nothing to rave about. Service was fast for a mom and pop place.

Aiea Korean mom and pop restaurant thats been around for years in the Waimalu shopping center.
Great combo meals and banchan, dont forget to use the magic sauce. Usually get the Bbq beef, Mandoo and the Meat Jun combo
Typical service when you go to a Korean restaurant, gotta flag down the server. Lots of parking in the lot so thats a plus. 4 stars.

Jumbo filled yaki mandoo!!! Delicious and don’t forget the magic sauce. My friends daughter said jigae was salty. Banchan was pretty good. Was nice to eat there again after over 25 years.

I never give a five star because 5 star means they are perfect. Nowhere is perfect. This place is really close. Great service and the food is really good. The seafood pancake was okay. I highly recommend this place.

Every time we go there the food is good and plentiful. We’re always a party of five but they always find a way to seat us. We’ll keep coming back and so will you!

Friendly, homestyle Korean neighborhood kitchen. Korean food excites me, so I’m always happy to pop into a new ( to me) spot and try it out. Very clean, busy for Sat lunch service but still some of the best customer service I’ve had since moving to the island! All the tables were engaged with the waiter, laughing;he cheerfully corrected my bad Korean grammar, our food came super fast, our drinks were always full, so were all the kimchee side dishes. Speaking of- very good fresh ! Great food. Offered level of heat in our dishes which I appreciate. Will be back.
