Authentic Shanghai cuisine. Try the song shu yu(sweet and sour fried fish), clay pot pork ribs soup, eel, clay pot pork ribs with potato, sesames rice ball sweet wine soup, many dishes and appetizers are tasty, a taste and fragrant from a Chinese wok .

Decent food but the service was a little bit disorganized. I only saw two people working to service like 12 tables for a busy Friday night and they have put the wrong dishes onto my table twice. The dried tofu appetizer (四喜烤麸) had the right taste and flavor but was a little bit too hard. It is supposed to be softer but still chewy. The shanghai style veggie rice (菜饭) was well-done, savory and with the authentic smoked pork meat! The spicy eel (鳝鱼) was also quite nice! I need to bring my Shanghainese friend here for an ultimate judge next time.

Authentic and delicious Shanghainese food. Clean restaurant, fresh ingredients, very nicely prepared. Came here with my family (who’s from Shanghai) and enjoyed the atmosphere, great food, and good service. The waitress spoke Shanghainese, which was an unexpected plus. Will be back!

We ordered Shanghai style salted meat & vege rice, spicy fried chicken, pork stomach with green pepper, and fish with sweet sour sauce, all were really good!

Great place for traditional Shanghainese food. Highly recommend the bamboo soup (can be a little on the saltier side), winter melon soup, and leek boxes. Soups have a very rich broth and the leek boxes come with a good mix of leek, eggs, glad noodles, and little shrimp. Recently tried the spicy garlic pork, pork is leaner than other places, flavor is spot on. Also tried the Q buns, they’re like fluffy chewy sweet bread with filling, pretty good. Also had the salted egg yolk silk squash, flavor was good but the squash needed another minute in the pot. Avoid the small Wonton soup, very bland. Still going through and trying additional items, but currently it’s my favorite local Chinese food joint. Can’t speak to the lunch or deli items, I typically get my dinner here to go.

Delicious food here! Wish they would update their menu so we don’t keep ordering things they don’t serve (rice roll, porridge, scallop, etc)

I’m always biased toward sweeter Shanghai dishes and they have exactly what I liked! The portions of the dishes are very fulfilling and they’re all reasonably priced.

I enjoyed the vegetarian dish and fried rice. Fried tofu nicely cooked. soup was very good and egg plant. could use more vegetarian options. Nice owner. However I went in one evening and asked him if I could have the same fried tofu and vegetable dish, he charged me dinner prices but when I got home what I had was a soup with soft tofu that I couldn’t eat I don’t know what it was. So I guess the communication is not very good here but the lunch line was enjoyable.

Which stup*d genius had the idea that for take out food only start cooking when customer arrives? I ordered online for sake of saving my time and you are telling me I need to wait 30 mins when arrived for pickup. Because you only start cooking once customer arrives?

Quick, simple, and tasty Chinese food. Walked in for take-out yang zhou fried rice, and got it in ten minutes. Portions are pretty big, price is good. Staff is polite, and overall a pleasant experience. It’s like a cozier, better Panda Express in some ways.
