It was fantastic ! I ordered the Thursday special and could not been any better! My husband ordered the porterhouse 24oz and it was more than he could ask for. He is hard to please and he was super satisfied. You go there to eat quality food . Priced for what you receive ( perfection) the waitress gave great service. No complaints from us. Can’t wait to go back to try Wednesdays special Prime Rib! Thank you all for a wonderful evening. Ps. It doesn’t compare to when prior owners owned it. I really don’t understand why anyone would not be happy to go there.

What an absolute embarrassment of an establishment. We arrive with a group of 6 at 6:30 and had our order put in at 6:50, or so we thought. An hour later the waitress came out and told us that they weren’t allowing her to put in our order. Mind you we haven’t even been offered our salads. We were then required to pay for our drinks, which was fine, but no apologies. When your restaurant only has about 10 tables and you have 3 waitresses, you can do better than this.

I went to Jim’s Steak House expecting a good meal with my friends. We got seated very fast and got our drinks somewhat fast. As a table of 3 it should not take 27 minutes for a waiter to come and ask us what we would like to eat. After we told them what we wanted it then took an embarrassing 1 hour and 13 minutes to get our food back. The food we got tasted cold and the whole time waiting, there were only two tables in the whole restaurant. The employees were all arguing loud enough we could all hear them. Spent well over 70 dollars on a horrible experience. And the worst part, my best friend started the next morning off by throwing up all of the cold food he ate. Took him to the urgent care and they said he had food poisoning.

Very odd old dirty looking place definitely not the type of place I would expect to need tk make a reservation for. The wait staff was amazing and friendly and on the ball. The food was very bland, ranch dressing on the salad was watered down. Got a ribeye it was very disappointing bland and tasted like it was cooked on a hot plate. About the only good thing about this place was the sweet tea and the waitress.

Had the 12 oz pork chop cooked medium rare. Very juicy Seasoned lightly with salt are the best pork chops I’ve eaten. Service was excellent. Thanks for a wonderful meal.

I got the steak tips and my guest got the fry fish ! Both where amazing! But the fish is the best fish I have had ! Ever !!! And the best hushpuppies !!

Went there a few weeks ago, they told us our to go order works be ready in an hour. Got there to pick it up and had to wait literally another hour. Decided to give them another chance tonight, whoever Paige is that answered the phone was rude on the phone when ordering, but went ahead and ordered. Then when going in to pick it up, they didn’t have our order and said there was someone training as their excuse. They are inconsistent and honestly, very expensive for what they use to be. I understand inflation, but this was insane. Also, the first time we went in, our cheeseburger actually tasted rotten. It’s really a shame because it use to be so good and the staff was actually nice and dressed nice. Now you walk in and don’t know if the person asking about your order is a worker or just a patron.

The meals I have gotten here are extremely delicious! They have the option on the menu to purchase a round of drinks for the kitchen and I have each time I have eaten here because the meal is always phenomenal! The service is excellent and very timely with friendly staff.

I drove down from Kansas City to try Jim’s Steakhouse. Waited over 15 minutes after being seated for a waiter to come over and get us drinks. Then ordered a steak medium well and the steak had no seasoning whatsoever and tasted like unseasoned ground beef. The waiter never came back to check on us or see if our food was okay. I paid $60 for french fries just to pay another $20 and eat somewhere else. Terrible service and I definitely won’t come back after this experience.

We made reservations for 4:00 on a Friday-it was a great time to eat. Not too busy. The beef tips with mushrooms was delicious. I felt like we got a lot for our money. 16 oz beef tips, salad and potato for about $23. I couldn’t even finish everything on my plate. Our waitress was great also. We didn’t love the apple caramel cheesecake. We really wanted the New York cheesecake but they were out of stock already.
