This is hands down my top 5 favorite BBQ places. Brisket… amazing, smoked sausage… hard to stop at just one, the Dan Special Sandwich, you only need one, its massive and delicious! Then my favorite, the Mac n cheese with pulled pork. I haven’t had many other items that they offer because these are so good I have a hard time choosing something different. 10/10 You will not regret eating here!

Jim smokehouse was chosen by yelp as the second best food trailer in the United States, so I had to go check it out. It’s a very unassuming food trailer on 620, right next to the thunder clouds and the barbecue is great. I’m not sure about being the number two trailer in the entire nation, but it’s definitely very very good. I went when I wasn’t really hungry so I just got a couple of things to try them and everything was good, especially the brisket. They have two different kinds of sauces and serve everything with pickles and onions. There are a bunch of picnic tables out front which are shared with a couple of other food trailers. Parking was not great, but it was not a huge problem, you park on the side of a small frontage road that runs in front of them.

Uff!! It’s been a long time since I’ve had a real, juicy brisket that melts in your mouth—and without even needing a fancy BBQ setup to taste this good! Honestly, I wasn’t expecting much since it’s from a food truck, but it completely blew me away. The flavor, the tenderness, the smokiness… everything was on point. Better than most high-end steakhouses I’ve been to—and the service made it even more memorable. Absolutely 100% recommended!

The staff was very friendly. I got to try the burnt ends and they were sooo good. Tender and juicy. Same for the baby back ribs and the brisket. I highly recommend going here.

I clearly came at the wrong time of day. Brisket was dried out from sitting in hotbox all day. Mac and cheese was horrible, absolutely no seasoning and the noodles were undercooked. The guys working there were helpful and nice. The corn is really good and the ribs. Brisket was definitely the let down of the meal

Definitely worth the stop guys! The moist brisket was perfection. I’m not a fan of bbq sauce usually, but both sauces were fantastic here. The mac and cheese was super creamy, flavorful and rich. Nice people too! My meal was $13 and I’d say that’s super fair.

This makes the above statement true, and was one of the better BBQ sandwiches I ever had.
When I first received I thought it was a bit unimpressive, but changed as soon as my first bite! It was a lot more meat than it looked, bun was amazing, and it was actually Hot. I can’t tell you how many BBQ places I’ve been lately that serve almost cold meat.. terrible
$16 is somewhat typical nowadays, but would still hope to be a bit cheaper, or at least come with a small side. At least it was delicious. This will be an ‘every once in a while place’ bc of price point. If it was a few cheaper, or came with side, would prob come here every time I was in area

Everything was stellar! The service was absolutely top tier! The guy who took our order was extremely helpful. Told us we could go sit and he would bring us our food. I got the 2 meat plate with Mac n cheese & scalloped potatoes. My wife got a chopped brisket sandwich. I came back for the banana cream pie for dessert.

The BBQ spot is fine. We ordered baby back ribs, brisket, and the Maui Waui taco. The brisket was good and moist, and the baby back ribs were sweet and tangy. The dish was too peppery for my taste. The taco didn’t have the flavor of a classic one; it was actually too meaty. For some people, having it packed with more meat would be a great advantage, but we prefer the more traditional style. I wouldn’t say we were impressed by the flavors, but the BBQ was good. The service was excellent. I would recommend this place.
