got two to go plates poured gravy on one so didnt notice but it tasted sour but still ate cuz thought maybe it was just in my head then i opened the second plate and the tukeybis gross and im sure rancid

Stopped by, and Gypsy had a chopped steak and mashed potatoes. I had the same. The food exceeded our expectations. The service was excellent, the wait staff were very helpful and friendly. We also had a delicious dessert. We enjoyed our meal and we will definitely return when we are in the area. We recommend this establishment. Please stop by when you are in the area.

Parking was a pain on a Sunday morning. But we were able to find a spot eventually. Dawn was our server, and she was wonderful, attentive, and kind. Food was also delicious. Menu has a great variety of breakfast, lunch and dinner items. We came in for breakfast and i ordered an omelet with grits and toast. The grits were good but not as good as grits ice had in Georgia. They passed the taste test however. Everything else tasted like any other breakfast place. I want adventurous like I normally am. Breakfast was cooked to my liking and it was tasty. My chocolate milk kept me happy along with the great service we received.

No way to be seated, I ordered my meal as soon as I sat because I knew what I wanted. But I pride myself on customer service. After I ordered I only saw my waitress three times. When I ordered when I got my meal and then when she brought me the check.
So you definitely know when a waitress or waiter is there for just a check? If they pride themselves on customer service, they love their customers. This is the reason for the 4 ⭐

Again Jim’s food never disappoints. The eggs tasted cooked in the hash browns were crispy just like I like.
So if you just want good food but not the best customer service, unless you’re in a big group. Because waitress and waiters usually pay more attention to the bigger group to get that bigger tip. That’s why I say you know when a waiter or waitress is there just for the money. This is my opinion.
I will still probably dine in at other jims. If you want a good Jim’s, read my review on the other locations.

My husband & I stopped into Jim’s to grab a bite. It was quiet inside, which was really nice to able to just kick back & enjoy our company and the food. Our server/Mgr was very personable and made us feel very welcomed. I totally forgot his name, but, he was dedicated to listening to our wants & needs went up & above to take care of us. We had chicken fried steak, which was even bigger than we remembered. They could stand to change their fry oil, though; it tasted a bit off. The biscuits were great! The gravy was thinner than I like and could’ve been cooked longer. No complaints about the eggs!

The food tasted like it had lighter fluid on it and they took it back and I got something else and it had that taste the waitress said it’s char broiled I said no that’s a chemical. And my sister said hers tasted like it too and the waitress said we’ll I’ll tell them not to season it cause that’s what we were tasting. I don’t think so but then they didn’t even offer a discount or say they were sorry

Jim’s on I35 at O’Connor rd is great.
Service is usually quick and they keep coming back to check if you need anything. They also promptly give you your bill.
The food is always hot. I love many meals from Jim’s. One of the best is their cheese soup and fr fries.

By the time I sat down my coffee cup was full. That’s the best breakfast service ever. I had my favorite meal at 8am – grilled cheese sandwich and onion rings. If you’ve never eaten Jim’s onion rings, babe, your missing out.
