Drove from Juneau about 35 minutes to try the pizza get there at 5:30pm and they aren’t even open even though Facebook and Google has their hours as open. Real great management! There were about 5 or 6 people besides us wondering the same thing why are they closed? I did read reviews before we left and one said he doesn’t understand how they’re still in business because they’re hardly ever open. Definitely call before you go.

Jim’s Place is an affordable restaurant that is cash or check only. They have a customizable menu allowing you to pick your pizza toppings as well as add them to your sandwich or burger at no extra charge. While I would definitely eat here again, my biggest complaint is that families with kids let the kids run around the restaurant and treat it like a playground. They were climbing on other tables and chairs, chasing each other around, screaming, and hiding in the bathroom to scare each other. The staff didn’t seem to mind.

Went for lunch today. Great service, good food, not excellent just good. Pizza was too greasy, great fries. Burger was ok. $34 for large pizza with 3 topping and a burger/soda/fry and a slice of pie seems too high. Ceiling was disgusting with mold brought this to 2 stars. Double check your receipt got charged wrong for pie and charged for using my credit card.
