We passed through from Harrisburg with our two kids, and found something for everyone. They were incredibly sweet with our kids, and our waitress, Reagan, was so kind and attentive. We loved the ambiance, and the stained glass light fixtures. Very nostalgic vibe.
The sauce is definitely sweeter than your typical tomato pasta sauce. I typically go for a more acidic sauce, but it wasn’t bad by any means! The garlic bread was fantastic, and their house dressing for salads was amazing. The kids popcorn chicken meal was humongous for the low price we paid, so we were super impressed with that.
Overall, we really enjoyed this little tucked away family restaurant. Definitely keeping this place in mind when we pass through next time!

Their spaghetti with meat sauce is so incredibly good! The sauce has a meaty sweet taste and the garlic bread you can get on the side is soft on the inside and crunchy on the out. Adding butter to the bread makes it taste even better You can get a side salad which I sometimes get with ranch or I’ll just ask to substitute it with another loaf of bread when I get my spaghetti meal. It’s very filling and delicious. I’ve also heard their hoagies are very good although I have yet to try it. A lot of people get takeout here, but they also have seating inside. Absolutely love this place and the waitresses are very nice and there is always someone I recognize that’s been working there a long time. There’s enough parking, but the location can make it a little hard to park since it’s a small area, but I highly recommend this place!

Their food is great! I love their pasta. The sauce is sweeter as others have noted, but I enjoy that. I also enjoys their sandwiches, especially their cheesesteaks. The portions are big, and I always have leftovers for lunch.

The absolute best! Been coming here for years. We make the 45 min trip. Great to hit up after a penn state game. Only about 15 min from stadium. Sauce is sweeter than some prefer but I think it’s amazing. House made pasta and the house italian homemade dressing is amazing. The subs are awesome as well!

Went in today and felt rushed my kid has autism and everyone just looked at him differently and cosumers as well I try to control my kids but when I already tried or trying to do multiple things its to much for me, I also got spaghetti with meat sauce not alot of meat in the sauce could have been warmer and bread was hard but I ate it anyhow with that being said I did felt rushed and judged so I asked for boxes and left very unhappy and upset also the parking space needs to be bigger so people are not being rushed as well will never be back and other drama was started in there by people I know and others just not how a restaurant should be and be ran.

I loved this place. It was recommended by a friend’s cousin. The salad with house dressing was great, a little bit salty which I love. I ordered a plain spaghetti (no meat or cheese) in a hoagie roll. It came with a side of extra sauce, which had a sweet flavor to it. The combo of salt and sweet really complimented each other. I will definitely recommend this place to other people looking for a slight twist to traditional food.

The food is so good! I love their salads especially. To add, the cheesesteaks are the best in the area of Bellefonte. Chick parm sandwich is another one that’s the best in the area. The service is amazing! They are so kind and the owner is also very friendly. The atmosphere is amazing as well. It’s definitely giving the Italian vibe. Overall, a 5!

If you haven’t been to Jim’s, you don’t know what you’re missing!!! Great food at very reasonable prices. I placed a huge take-out order, we arrived earlier than anticipated but they were very accommodating and were very careful to make sure no items were missed!! Always a favorite spot of ours!!

A lot of people in town likes Jim’s, I personally dont because the sauce is so sweet and has a lot of sugar in it. It doesnt really taste like tomato sauce. It’s not robust and savory, it’s sweet. But the pasta is great.
