This local gem is an amazing place! Frequented by the wonderful folks in Rochester, they have a an array of nicely portioned favorites at great prices with warm, friendly, and attentive service from the staff! I chose a local staple: a Beef on Weck! It was fantastic! A nice helping of shaved roast beef on a Kimmel Weck roll with coarse salt and caraway with a side of au jus and horseradish sauce! Highly recommended!

Went to try Jim’s for the first time. I hear good things about them. I ordered a garbage plate which might I add that $18 for a garbage plate is insane. They do not give you a good portion size for the money you pay here you get almost nothing for what you pay. I got a hot dog plate the hot dogs were so small they charge you for them and you get almost nothing. They were also very burnt. The Mac salad was warmer than the hot dogs and the Mac salad tasted terrible. The home fries weren’t the best either they came out soggy and full of oil. Honestly I will not be going back to eat here. I don’t know what the hype about this place is it wasn’t a pleasant experience at all.

We come here atleast one a week… I’ve been wanting their wings. Upon coming home, discovered a dead fly on a wing. I went back the the restaurant. With kindness and sincere, I showed the young lady at the register the dead fly on my food. She laughs!!! There’s nothing funny about a dead fly on my food. You clearly saw this as you closed up the food. Accidents happen but the way you went about it and laughed like it was funny was not great customer service. I’m done with Jims Ground Jim’s Ground

Now that’s a cheeseburger! Huge patty with an excellent steakhouse sear. Good meat, juicy but not greasy. Nice heat on the hot sauce. Surprised“hard roll” was the standard bun . Fat fries were undercooked lost a star. Spent my childhood at Seabreeze Don& Bob’s and Shallers. Living out of state now. Ready to let go of the past and get my Rochester burger fix here at Jim’s!

It’s been awhile since I visited Jim’s Ground, add my return was greeted with awesome service the ladies behind the counter were all in a good mood very helpful, the food was flavorful delicious and hot. In my opinion way better than the local Bill Gray’s we will be back way sooner and you should too!!

Burger was very good, loaded, they sautéed onions and peppers for me. Meat sauce had nice flavor. We spilled a drink and server came right out to clean up nicely. Good service right up front. Not fancy inside, just booths, but seemed clean.
