There burgers were great and their dirty bbq Pork cheese fries are easily the best loaded fries I’ve had, that beats out the loaded fries at Texas roadhouse and chili’s. Seriously if thats all you get there you will have enjoyed your time!
The environment is also a really friendly and rustic feel.
If you live in cache valley or are passing through then stop in and give it a try!

Food is always great. For a small diner, you wouldn’t expect as eclectic an assortment of meals offered, but Jim’s will blow you away. Whether you are in the mood for a delicious Roast, Gourmet-level Burger, or Tiny Spicy Chicken (pictured), you are bound to find something to satisfy your hunger at Jim’s Grill. And to make it all the better, the prices can’t be beat! Jim’s is one of the few remaining restaurants where $10 will get you almost anything on the menu, Prime rib obviously not included, but well worth the price.
If you’re in the area and want a delicious, wallet-friendly meal in a restaurant with character to boot, Jim’s is the place to go!

Super awesome food. The sushi is amazing. The flavor is out of this world. The sake is perfect.

Really impressed with the food, the service, your prices, and the atmosphere. I’d eat here all the time if I was closer.

This place has a ton of character. I really liked the food and the server was friendly. The only reason for the star drop is the service was incredibly slow. We were the first table in the restaurant and ordered fairly basic food and it still took almost 30 minutes to get the food. I do love that it is very unique and there is some real charm in that.

My first time trying out Jim’s Grill. Had drove past it many times thinking to myself “Hey, I should try that place.” I hadn’t heard much about it so didn’t really have any expectations. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Got seated and waited on right away. Very eclectic menu – I suppose it matches with the decor 🙂 I was surprised at how long it took to get our food, which was sandwiches, fish and chips, and burgers. But when it finally did come, it was very tasty. The meat on my burger was top-notch and loved the toasted bun! Everyone loved their meal. Very reasonably priced, I thought. Will definitely try Jim’s Grill again – will be interested to see if the long wait for our food is the norm or was an aberration.

Pound of fries were really good. Nice beer batter on them. Navajo Taco was simple , but freshly made and quite good. The apple crumble dessert was also very good. A bit pricey for the portion size, but overall really good!
Very cool ambiance. Lots of antique eye candy. Cool old building. Servers get an A for effort, but need a little more serving experience. I’ll be back.

Great little restaurant with a fun atmosphere. The food was awesome. The attentiveness of the waitress has improved a lot since my last visit. I would have no problem recommending this place. The owner will often come out and chat with you as well. He is a very nice guy and cares not only about his business but about his customers too.

We came right at the beginning of the lunch hours and was surprised by the eclectic interior. It’s cozy though, and we were quickly greeted by a server. The menu is quite…diverse. It makes it hard to identify what the overreaching theme is here, but it matches the decor so it oddly works.

The food was fantastic. The kitchen worked around dietary requests wonderfully and with no errors, but I will say that at that time service was almost painfully slow. Normally it wouldn’t have bothered me, but arriving with two hungry kids and having to wait over an hour is not a great combination. I’m not sure if they kitchen is short staffed for lunch, or if it was a bad day, or if hadn’t completed daily prep yet. There didn’t seem to be a large influx of diners at that time. Other reviews seem to mention long waits for food as well.

But despite this, I’d still come back.

My burger was perfection and my husband’s chicken cobb salad was quite good (though we wonder what the base for the creamy salad dressings are because they’re quite thin). My daughter’s kids meal mac and cheese was scratch made and had obviously just come out from under the broiler or salamander with a lovely crust of cheese on the top (frankly, it made me want an adult portion! This is no Kraft dinner).

Server was attentive without being overbearing and pleasant to talk to. She ensured she had any questions about our order handled prior to inputting it which was refreshing as I’ve had other restaurants just guess and hope for the best.

This is a five star place, I’ve only docked them one star due to lack of speed so you go knowing it might be slower than anticipated.

My wife and I were told by the bartender we can order chicken fried chicken even if it was not on the menu. The waiter took our order without question knowing it was not on the menu. We were served chicken fried steak. Too much drama among the bartender, the chef and the waiter. Three people in our group ordered medium rare steaks and two were well done. The establishment is trying to do well but they need new management.
