This would be classified as a mom and pop eatery. Very relaxed dining, big variety on the menu with a whole lot of comfort foods to sate your hunger. Not expensive by any means and pretty good sized portions, or maybe more than you are able to eat at one sitting.
We had the Sunrise sandwich on wheat toast, Coffees, and a Jim’s Breakfast with sausage and bacon, eggs over medium and pancakes. Everything was delicious.
We had Soula that took care of us from the beginning to our departure. She kept our coffee filled without us even having to ask, food was brought out promptly, and she was just awesome and delivered some of the best service we have had. We will be back here with no hesitation.
Update: We came for breakfast, were seated right away. No acknowledgement, another person was seated after us. The wait staff went over and took their drink order. Still no response from the wait staff, going on 5 minutes now. So we left and went somewhere else, the two times previous to this visit were great. But getting ignored is not good

Fastest service I’ve ever experienced, even at their busiest hours. servers always checking in and topping off drinks. Very homy environment. The food is great, and well portioned.

Quick to greet our party of 14 and the food was incredible. The service and server were great and the food portions are large. Please consider supporting a local business.

This particular Jims doesn’t have very good food. The every piece of my breakfast tased like it was soaked in the same vat of rancid oil before being served. Hardly even edible. This location used to be as good as the others but lately every time I give it a try, I leave hungry and disappointed.
The host and the servers are very friendly.

We went to breakfast at Jim’s West Jordan. My wife ordered the crepes and I ordered bacon and eggs over easy. The meal was horrible the crepes were cold and It was like eating a tamale. One of my eggs was half cooked and hash browns undercooked. As we were leaving the owner asked how was your meal and I pointed out that it wasn’t very good. I told him my complaint and to my surprise his response was “ l don’t know how they cook them in Mexico” which I replied that they tasted like a tamale. I didn’t know that race became a part of breakfast. I will never eat at that restaurant again.

The ribeye steak is worth the trip. All our orders (see video) are 5 stars. The ever solicitous servers in black are worth coming back for.

Our 2nd visit was also disapointing. Soup was not hot, the turkey gravy ordered very luke warm. Servers not getting the food out when hot. We won’t be eatting here again and tell others about our negative experience to go elsewhere.

First and probably last time. Ordered a Waffle with strawberries and cream. First it takes a confusing system to get seated. You have to wait for people who are wating in line to pay for their food to be noticed. Propably very busy but it took a while for them to come to get my order. Waitress only came once at the end to refill my coffee. My waffle was a mush with old strawberries. Eggs and bacon were alright.

Hash browns were cold and I ordered over medium eggs but received then almost raw. Chicken fried steak was good.
