By far my favorite place to eat! They come right to your car, fairly quick (because they stay pretty busy the entire time they are open), they only take cash, always have a special of the day, fresh baked goods/pies/dessert, and the biggest selection of milkshakes I’ve ever seen! I would personally recommend trying the fried green tomato sandwich, OR their famous ranch burger and their fresh cut French fries. I’ve never gotten anything I didn’t like from them!

We enjoyed the Double Ranch Burger with the super thick shakes and recommend them. Service was a little slow because they are very busy. Dining is in your car or outside on picnic tables.

Burgers were great!! PRICEY blackberry cobbler. Delicious chocolate shake. Fast, friendly service. Pulled right up and car hop/server was there before the window was down. $22.00 plus tip for ranch burger, cheeseburger, large tea, small shake, and blackberry cobbler.
Service was fast and efficient. They brought dog biscuits automatically for our pooches. Only slight negative would be the price and size of cobbler but everything else about this old school burger joint was a grand slam homerun!
Update: Liked it so much we hit it up again on the rebound! We got the fried green tomato sandwich which had 2 fried green tomatoes, lettuce, bacon, mayo and provolone cheese. Hot, fresh, and delicious! Definitely recommend this sandwich along with the killer burgers.

We arrived 10 minutes before closing and I suspected we’d be able to at least place a to-go order. Much to my surprise, our kind server said we’d be just fine parking for the drive in meal. They have the best homemade vanilla milkshake, french fries, club sandwiches (no tomatoes) and grilled cheese (lightly toasted). My son and I enjoy our time together talking, laughing and eating up here. It’s a very special place. They added tomatoes to my club sandwich and I let our server know. She wrote no tomatoes and went back to get me a new one made. I thought it was really great that we arrived so close to closing yet we weren’t rushed and a mistake was fixed with a genuine apology which really wasn’t even necessary. Great prices for the food quality, always fresh and consistent along with the full experience is a must visit! Everyone here is always so kind no matter how packed Jim’s can get at times, they’re always close to check in on us!

Fish sandwich (haddock) was good but only 4 small onion rings. BBQ sandwich wasn’t nearly as good as we expected and only had 4 onion rings with that order. Philly cheesesteak was amazing with a stack of onion rings. Overall meals were okay and prices were great. Probably wouldn’t stop again. Service was good!

Jims Drive In is a family friendly, local eatery. The food is great, always hot and fresh. The service is phenomenal, the employees are always so kind and accommodating to its customers. There are tables, so you don’t have to eat in your car for larger groups, but my kids think it’s so cool they bring you food to your car!
It is a cash only establishment, so be sure to bring cash!
