The breakfast was good for the most part. The hamburger patty wasn’t great though. I really like the fact that they serve breakfast all day. I saw a plate of battered and fried zucchini, mushrooms and onion rings that was gigantic!! They really looked good. I plan on having that next time!! They have a nice variety on their menu!!

Good hamburger, great flavor from being char-grilled, quarter pound patties. Ordered the 2 patty classic style, bun was also good. Only negative was the onions were bitter like they were chopped yesterday. Onion rings are homemade, good but batter was a little bland, had to put salt on them. Overall really good will definitely be back.

i’ve been here a few times for breakfast. What I like it’s just a straight up breakfast. Just bacon, eggs, toast, hashbrowns, and a cup of coffee. I thought the price was reasonable. The atmosphere is like a small country town Café or at least as close as you can get in the growing city of surprise Arizona.

Good place for an easy breakfast, lots of older folk visit the location but when that happens you know it’s a good spot. My main complaint is having to tip before the service, feeling obligated if I don’t tip they’ll mess up my food type feeling. Food was great, only complaint would be the toast was too crispy for my personal liking. Chicken fried steak, eggs, and hash browns were perfect. Kiddo enjoyed chocolate covered pancakes, while the wife had a breakfast sandwich that got devoured. Overall good place to eat breakfast in the Surprise area

Nice dine in eatery, plenty of seating accommodations. Very clean and organized. No long lined waiting. Cam call.in and pick.up and go. The fresh scent of eggs, Not my favorite part. Reports the food is great here.

I came into Jim’s Burgers and Eggs and placed a large order. After I received my receipt I noticed that all the prices were higher than shown on the menu. I went up to the cashier asked why this was. The cashier told me it was because I paid with card. Then they said there is a sign and pushed all the stuff off of it, that was on top to show me. This is horrible that I came in and brought my service to you but because depending on my payment method you decide to charge less or more. This to me is horrible. I have heard of a fee for using a card but not a price difference on each individual item.

I don’t know what kind of wizardry they’re cooking with back there, but these burgers must’ve been handcrafted by angels on their lunch break. The patty? Juicier than a soap opera plot twist. The cheese? Melted with such precision I’m convinced a NASA scientist was involved.
And the fries… oh, the fries. Perfectly crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside-like little golden pillows of happiness. I would gladly fight a raccoon in a dark alley if it meant I could have another basket.
This place didn’t just serve me food; it served me a life experience. I walked in hungry, I walked out full, and somewhere in between I considered writing a love song about their special sauce.

My friends and I visit Jim’s every Saturday for breakfast, and it’s easily become our go-to spot. The food is consistently great, whether it’s the special or one of their burgers (I’ve had just about all of them and it’s still impossible to pick a favorite). The prices are fair, the place is always clean, and even the background music is at the perfect level so you can actually enjoy a conversation.
But what really makes the experience stand out is the staff, especially Becka. She’s an absolute rockstar! Constantly on the move, always smiling, and genuinely a pleasure to talk to. She remembers us, takes great care of everyone, and brings such a positive energy to the place. Jim’s is already a solid diner, but Becka truly takes the cake.
Highly recommend this spot for great food, great atmosphere, and exceptional service!

Jim’s Burgers and Eggs continues to be one of those rare local spots that never misses. Even with the recent change in ownership, the quality of the food hasn’t slipped one bit. Everything is just as delicious as it has always been—comforting, consistent, and clearly made with care. It still feels like a treat every time I stop in, and it’s great to see that the new owners have kept the same heart and flavor that made this place special in the first place.
