Definitely some amazing burgers!
Staff is so friendly and quick to serve and get it too you, even when the place is busy.
Not some fast food tasting burgers but taste fresh and of good quality meat.
Fries, also wonderful.
Been here since 1979 but definitely haven’t lost their edge on keeping the customer happy with great service.

This is the best place I have been in Victoria , burgers are delicious and large , fries and tots are crispy and fluffy , the fried green beans are beyond amazing , the staff are friendly and welcoming . Come hungry and grab some dessert. Ice cream or cake all is good . Will frequent this place for the value and flavor

This a good to spot when Visiting Victoria TX. The food is great and reasonably priced. They were short staffed and several tables had to be wiped down. Still is a great place.

I had a hankering for a burger and tried a “Double, with cheese, all-the-way.” Side of fries, and a Diet Coke (gotta watch the calories.). You order at the counter and someone will bring your order to the table.
It’s a very good burger. Toasted bun, smash-style patties with perfect browning, and the vegetables were the prettiest ones I have seen in a sandwich in a long time. I had forgotten that tomatoes can actually be red.
The fries were okay – hot but not a lot of flavor, the Diet Coke was wet.
There are pictures of cake trying to tempt folk on every table.

The only reason they got a four star is because I’m missing cheese on my steak burger other than that it was amazing. I ordered online my food was ready when I got there. I then also order shakes, but they waited until I got there which was awesome in my opinion!!

One of the most frustrating things is when a business is closed during posted hours. We drive once a week 15 miles into town for dinner. Today we tried Jim’s Big Burger. I always check online to ensure businesses are still open and operating. Nothing said Jim’s was closed and their website was clear about their hours. We drove up to the front door and they are closed for the next two days. Updating a social media site or website should be standard practice when a closer is expected. I understand emergencies but this appears to be an expected closure (printed sign).
The only thing this does is create an uncertainty that will not make Jim’s Big Burger my first choice for our weekly dinner.

This place was our favorite place to eat when in town but with the new owners the food quality went down and the prices went up. The cake was for instance was awesome, large pieces for a $2.00 and now smaller pieces for $2.25. It doesn’t sound like much but the price increases have stopped us from coming back.

Wow! I say this place is road trip worthy. We had bacon burgers, chicken tenders, fries, tots, and onion rings. Every bite was great. The bacon was probably the best I’ve ever had on a burger out with a thick crisp cut. We also had the delicious cookies-n-cream and strawberry milkshakes. It looked like they carry delicious homemade desserts as well. They staff were all friendly and the place was nice. Some may say it is a bit dated, but the bathrooms were clean and the memories on the wall have a personal touch. I’m planning on this being one of my standard stops when passing through the area.

I’ve never had an issue and was thinking of letting this go, but being how contaminated and severe this issue was. I couldn’t. I picked up my order. It was wrong, I realized after I bit into it. So, I took it back. They corrected it but gave me the SAME exact burger that was opened. It went from my hands, to the cashiers, to the cooks, to a guy who walked it to the guy at the window. I couldn’t believe it. Isn’t this against health code? Cross contamination?
