Been there several rimes, but certainly my last. Upon entering with another person we were greeted by one of two bartenders, so she was aware that we were present trying to get seated around the bar. We found a high top table in the back and sat down and waited over 15 minutes before I had to stop the bar back and ask if we could get a server. We ordered drinks where I ordered a classic mixed drink which came in a 16 oz glass and it tasted like pure soda and no alcohol at all. Not the first time I’ve experienced this there. We then ordered food and definitely subpar as the other times. The person with me ordered a mixed drink as well and I watched the bartender pour the alcohol and it was a quick 1.5 second count for a 16 oz glass. Now since I used to bartend for many years, I know this is way below the standard 1.5 oz minimum of liquor that should go into that glass, where she poured probably 3/4 oz. When my friend explained he didn’t taste anything in the drink, she offered nothing to fix the issue and he had to order a shot of liquor which again I watched her pour and was a 2 second count, again not a full 1.5 oz pour. I could see there were free hand pours. When we got the bill, my friend gave 4 $20 bills, so he could get change to give a $12 tip on a $58 bill, which was 20+%, since he knows bartenders there don’t have a 401k or medical, etc. She gave him back a twenty and two $1 bills. He actually had to ask her to make change. She is a regular bartender there and not the only bartender who pours badly and doesn’t know standard drink recipes. It’s local and convenient, but have zero desire to go back and have watered down drinks, bad food and bad service. Wouldn’t surprise me if the liquor is watered down as well. I’m definitely taking a forever time out from Jimmy’s.

Typical sports bar, nothing about the atmosphere really stands out. The bartender was friendly, quick, and attentive.

I didn’t sample any food.

Very much felt like there’s a regular crowd of local patrons and they were welcoming enough. Seemed like a largely 40 and over bar, I didn’t see a great number of college kids or younger adults other than staff.

Jimmy’s Timeout Sports Pub has quickly become one of my favorite spots in Philadelphia. I’ve visited five or six times now, and each visit has been nothing short of exceptional. The atmosphere is vibrant, welcoming, and full of energy — the perfect setting for a great meal or to catch the game.

The staff here truly sets the bar. Jennifer and Mackenzie, in particular, go above and beyond to make every visit enjoyable. Their attentiveness, professionalism, and friendly demeanor make you feel like more than just a customer.

And the wings — hands down, the best in all of Philadelphia. Perfectly cooked, full of flavor, and consistently delicious.

If you’re looking for an incredible place to eat, relax, and enjoy some of the best service and food around, take the timeout and go to Jimmy’s. You won’t regret it.

Really nice place considering it’s a corner bar. We had pizza and garlic parm wings. Very good food. We sat at the bar but a buddy told me the dining room is really nice. It’s like 2 places in one so im assuming it’s family friendly. Ill post more when I check it out

Ended up at Jimmy’s on a Saturday night during St Patrick’s Day weekend and couldn’t speak highly enough of the joint. Great food, excellent service, and delicious drinks. Jimmy the owner was more than welcoming and conversational enough to accommodate our party of 10. Will definitely be coming back soon. Try the roast pork sandwich!

Good food, great prices, and excellent service. Jimmy the owner is welcoming. Jen, Pat, Tim, and Rita are fantastic bar tenders. This is my go to place. The atmosphere is always nice. It’s a sports bar with plenty of good spots to sit and watch any game. The back bar is a work of carpentry artwork. Beer taps are clean. Food is never a disappointment. This is as close to a Cheers bar as a Philly bar could get.
