8+ experience all around. I highly recommend. About an eight minute walk from Phillipsburg hotels. Gentlemen at the window was very down to earth and honestly just wanted people to enjoy his food. I wish I was able to go back. I hurt my foot so unfortunately I was only able to go once and I highly recommend everyone check this place out when visiting the island.

Got the oxtail stew meal to dine. One of my favorite parts of visiting this country. The service was great, everyone was extremely friendly, and the food matched. The meal was amazing and this is a must go for anyone visiting.

We found this place back in 2019 and everything we go to St. Maarten we make a point of going there a few times.
Francois is the son who is the cook and Jimmy is the dad, who just retired. His daughter, Alessia, now runs the business. It’s a family affair as the aunt will come in and help out also.
We talk with Francois all the time and he is a very personable and friendly man. We keep telling him that we tell and encourage people to stop and try his food, they won’t be disappointed!! Huge portions, great price!!

Loved it! This is that quintessential moment where an unassuming establishment brings a foodie joy. I mean it’s literally part of a parking lot… yet every aspect gave what you wanted it to give. Service was cordial, kind, prompt & professional. Portion was healthy. The ribs were tender, meaty, smoky, throughly seasoned & charred to perfection. The noodles w/ cheese sauce was flavorful & lowkey addictive. I wish my route brought me back that way I would have stopped for dinner to go. Side note they’re a beautiful couple/ family. Highly recommended!

Everything was A mazing. Start to finish. A must try on the island. We had the BBQ rib meal, BBQ chicken meal, Jimmy burger with fries, jonnycakes and the local fresh juice. We will definitely be going back to try more.

For a change we wanted something local so we went here 1 night…. it was an experience of a life time. Florence (hope I got the spelling right) in the back BBQing was AMAZING…after seeing him laugh and cook he gave me a quick crash course and history on his families 2nd generation street food resto. He even cooked in front of me and explained some of his methods.
We tried as many things as we could over our 3 visits, it kept us coming back. They where all AMAZING, so fresh, the meat juicy and you can tell everything was made with love and passion. The portions where also fantastic. In the end it was one of the big highlights of our trip to St. Martin and we can’t wait to visit back.

Gives you that smoke shack look and feel. Listen carefully. There’s a comedian somewhere in the back, pushing laughter to the front.
