I Really Really wanted to love Jimmy’s place. I ordered to go because I sit my living room after a long morning of working and enjoy breakfast. They didn’t do great. There was a first time of missing my order , so I decided to try again for round two and I ordered the hungry man’s breakfast with a chocolate chip pancake ( no chocolate chip in my pancake that i paid extra for) and a side of grits with a biscuit. My plan was to use a scramble, eggs and ham inside the biscuit. Yum yum for a sandwich , right? Nope. Second time no biscuit for me the grits were not cooked fully. They probably needed another thirty five forty minutes on the stove before serving to customers. ⏳ So that was a wasted $4. My tummy is sad because I didn’t get my biscuits sandwich. The potatoes were good, but considering this is the second time I’ve ordered to go. I don’t think I’ll try a third. ♀️

Not so with Jimmy’s. Greetings with smiles from the staff and laughter from the locals in their element swapping lies and old jokes.
With its ample seating area and long 12 seat counter bar, Jimmys has that great American mom and pop feel thats obvious with every bite.
Im a snob when it comes to pancakes. I can smell the ‘institutional batter the moment I walk into a place. The short stack I had was excellent. You can tell they make their own batter and have a dedicated griddle just for those golden cakes. Need to stop in for lunch as everything looks delicious.

We have passed by Jimmys place but never been before?’ Idk why ? Because it was absolutely delicious and amazing cute place reminds of a an old school diner! I love a good skillet and my mom loved the French toast, she did mention that her food could been warmer but other than that…. I can’t wait to go back !!!!! P.S. ignore the negative reviews they are so not true and completely made up !!! JIMMYS PLACE IS THE BEST!!!

I’ve experienced much better food elsewhere. Though their prices are reasonable, I’d choose many other restaurants before this one.

I like this place. The staff has always been friendly. I have stopped by here 3 other times for a meal. This time I was trying the Hungry Man breakfast. It was good. I especially liked the grilled green pepper and grilled onions mixed in with the home fries. For me the eggs were done just right. It was a very good meal and service top notch.

Very simple down to earth breakfast and lunch spot. Very attentive service, large portions and clean environment. Prices less than comparable spots around the area. Photo is of the “Meat Lovers Omelette” with an extra slice of cheese melted on top.

Jimmy’s is a great little diner. Set very conveniently near the local elementary school which makes it great for grabbing breakfast before dropping off the kids.
The Pro’s: bathrooms are always clean. The parking lot is easy to get into / out of and has plenty of parking. The staff are pleasant and seem to enjoy the work they do. The food is made to order, and the cook is happy to tweak a dish as needed to accommodate for things like allergies, etc. Outdoor seating is available.
The con’s: honestly there really aren’t many. The only thing that comes to mind is the location makes it hard to find if you don’t know it is there. 2nd is the menu which is limited to traditional American breakfast choices, however if you asked something custom (like a vegan or low carb dish) they are happy to work with that.
Definitely an under rated gem. Highly recommend!

Bacon was dripping with grease. Served a Flat hard biscuit that I couldn’t even cut with my fork and barely with a knife. Gravy was lumpy and tasted like it was made with old bacon grease. Could not eat it. Eggs and hashbrowns were OK but could taste the grease in the hashbrowns. The ice water I could not drink because it had such a chemical smell and flavor to it. I honestly thought I was gonna get food poisoning before I got out of there. They started mopping with some heavy Strong smelling cleaner that engulfed the whole restaurant. They should not be doing that with Customers still there. I knew I should’ve gone to Golden Bear where I always go. I thought I would give JIMMY’s some business, but never again.
