Also, the portion sizes were very small, which made the experience even more disappointing.
On the positive side, the kunafa was genuinely delicious — well cooked and full of flavour. The service was good as well.
Overall, aside from the kunafa and decent service, the food was too plain, overpriced, and served in very small portions
Food is always on point, freshly made. My favourite dish is the Adana kebabs. I get 2 adana kebabs with chips. For starters its the Hummus and bread. Food always tastes the same whenever I go.
Service is excellent too. Price is a touch dear but they are located in town so rates must be high. The taste of the food is bang on so don’t mind paying that touch extra.
This was my first time here and I was really impressed. The kebab was perfectly seasoned and so juicy, and the rice was cooked perfectly with such a rich, delicious flavor. The food tasted fresh and full of quality. The only downside was that it felt a bit hot inside as there was no cool air. Still, I would definitely come again and recommend it to others!
We were never informed of a time limit when we were seated.
This is utterly unprofessional. The restaurant clearly prioritizes large group bookings over the individual customer experience, treating people unequally. This level of transactional disrespect is repugnant.
You might have fantastic food, but your management’s failure in hospitality ruined our night and made the entire experience feel cheap and rushed.
⚠️ WARNING: Be aware that your meal may be abruptly cancelled and you will be asked to leave if a large group decides to show up.
We will ensure our friends and family hear about this unforgettable, terrible experience. Lost a customer for good.
We will be back soon, and I would recommend Jimmy’s Kitchen without hesitation to anyone looking for a fabulous Turkish meal.
My friends and I got the Adna each (we didn’t find it spicy) and garlic bread to share and it was all very good. Firstly, big portion size, the rice was amazing so fluffy and flavourful, the meat was soft and cooked to perfection, the bread was fresh and the salad was fine. The garlic bread was surprisingly very good and came with two dipping sauces – chilli and yogurty flavours. We also got a few desserts and the Kunefe with pistachio was amazing. Never had anything like it , I would definitely recommend. The cheesecake was frozen on the inside which my friend didn’t personally mind.
Overall would rate the restaurant 4.4/5! I will be coming back to try other items on the menu!!
Each spent around 20£.
What we got:
Adna (spicy minced lamb skewers), garlic bread, baklava, kunefe with pistachio and cheesecake.
The food itself was amazing, we got the 2 hot and 2 cold starters, the hummus comes with freshly made bread, we got the mix grill and sausage pide, both of which were great, mix platter included chicken, lamb kebab, chicken wings and lamb pieces, these were all cooked extremely well and the meat was full of juice and easily broke apart which is a first time for me in regards ro chicken tikka.
The rice and salad with this were both tasty aswell, I’m a large guy (6’2 104kg) and even so I was full and happy.
The sujuk (sausage) pizza itself was super tasty and left the mouth watering.
I can not reccomened this place enough!!!
