We had been driving all day & needed a break. Here they make their own dough & sauces! We love small family owned & work places as they take pride in the foods they serve! The spaghetti tasted like my mama used to make – delicious! The veggie pizza was made with all fresh ingredients & veggies- I loved it!!

Lovely little Italian restaurant in Prince George.
Cozy atmosphere, soft jazz music, and the nicest waitress (Sarah) I’ve met in some time.
My husband had the pepperoni pizza and said it tasted homemade. He liked it very much.
My daughter had the meat lasagna and ate the entire portion, which was huge. She said it was fantastic.
I had the chicken marsala: two large chicken cutlets, battered and fried perfectly on a bed of tender lemony pasta and sprinkled with fresh parsley. The sauce could have been a *bit* thicker for me, but otherwise it was perfect.
I was very happy with our meal and service.
Would definitely recommend.

Nestled in the area where Prince George, Hopewell, and Fort Gregg Adams converge is Jimmy’s Grill & Pizzeria. My daughters and I tried this restaurant put for the first time today, and it did not disappoint! The food was phenomenal, with great portions, excellently prepared and cooked. The presentation was steller. The service was very good, the people here were friendly and professional. Our server, Darlene, was awesome. She checked on our table to make sure we were satisfied with the food and check to see if we wanted anything else for our order. The atmosphere was very peaceful and calm. I am looking forward to my next visit here.

This is a gem that I am so happy to have discovered today. It’s a family run business. They grow their own herbs, and make their sauces from scratch. The servings were generous, the salad was fresh and with a bright presentation, the service was superb, and the taste of my eggplant parmesan was magnifico!

I placed a DoorDash order about an hour before closing. I received a call around 9:02 PM from the older woman (she may be the co-owner) employed there, stating that no dasher had arrived and they were closing at 9. I was told I could not receive a refund and would need to come pick it up myself. I drove there immediately (about 10 minutes away), but by the time I arrived the restaurant appeared closed and I did not receive my food. I understand delivery delays can happen, but the situation could have been handled more professionally. Thankfully, I ended up receiving a refund anyway through Doordash when I explained the situation. I recommend clearer policies regarding third-party delivery orders close to closing time.

I had the pleasure of visiting Jimmy’s for the first time today but it will not be the last. Ilene was our waitress and she was so friendly and quick. The pizza was delicious with amazing crust. Our salads were fresh and crisp with no wilty lettuce or soft veggies. The bacon cheese fries were piping hot, clearly fresh, and delicious. It was a spot I have passed many times without a second thought. I’m disappointed I lived so close for a couple years and never visited. I will be back.

Something I haven’t posted in a while. New spots to eat in Hopewell. This is Jimmy’s, a place that I often forget about. Its located inside the Baymont Hotel just down the street from my house. 🙂 Very cute dining room and the service was really great. Rob got the burger and I got the spaghetti with meat sauce. Both were really good, nice and fresh and the portions HUGE! A definite thumbs up from me and this will become a regular stop on the food tour 🙂
