Gorgeous view from this beachside place. Sports on the TVs and apparently live music some nights. We had lunch and my salmon tacos were positively scrumptious. My husband’s mahi and fries were delicious as well. The water cups are quite small and chock full of ice, so we didn’t get much actual water, and it took a couple of tries to finally get them refilled.

We went on a Wednesday night, they had live music and were not very busy. The had a beach front and you could see the beach from our seats. Our party had the Fresh Maui Fish and Chips with Fries, Quick Fried Chicken Tenders with Fries, These were very juicy and tender they melted in your mouth. We all shared The Macadamia Nut Pesto Fries, these were super good, if you love pesto you would love these and they were very big! Two of us had The Jimmy Burger with Fries. These were super good and juicy, very big burgers! We had ranch with our fries, the ranch was a dill ranch that alright if you like dill. I also had the The Kalapaki Breeze this was a good drink but was very tiny for the price. Would recommend this place, but only thing is they were expensive.

This place had the best service I experienced on the island. Amazing wait staff, fast and friendly. Amazing drinks, and the best fish and chips I have ever had. We went two times in 5 days because it was that good.

We had a blast at Jimmy’s when we stopped on our way back from a bike ride. Great location on the water, refreshing craft cocktails, a decent beer list, perfect lunch menu and a cool bartender that knows a lot about whiskey and other spirits. She makes a delicious Pretty Paloma.

Our new favorite in Kauai!!! Right on the beach, great food, amazing view, and Jimmy himself chatted with us. I recommend the salmon tacos with fruit salsa, the fish and chips, and the salmon cakes. Fantastic food!!!! Live music in the evening.

We went to Jimmys for lunch about two years ago and I was kind of on the fence. Didn’t hate it. Wasn’t sure about the vibe. We went again today for a late lunch and now I’m sold on Jimmys.
Of course the location is as good as it gets. The view and trade winds are perfect here. Easy access from the road (parking lot) or bike path. We biked in both times.
Jimmys is basically a food truck and full bar with the best, cleanest set up for casual dining. But they have full menu with waiters, very good attentive service on this visit . Then there’s the restaurant quality food! So, It doesn’t get any better than this for me.
I’ll be looking forward to Jimmys next time I’m on Kauai.

All the food we ordered was delicious, the fish was super fresh. Only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is that I just feel it is a bit overpriced but I suppose you are also paying for the scenic location. Service was really good.

We got the burger & the Mahi sandwich…both were delicious and great value for the $ . I wanted to sub the fries for a small side salad. Was going to be $8 to sub. The side salad is only $9 so I just added it. It was a very disappointing salad for Kauai. Fresh greens available everywhere yet I was served some old iceberg lettuce w a few pieces of tomato and pineapple. The waitress even asked me how it was as I obviously wasn’t going to eat it. I told her I didn’t care for it and didn’t want it. She didn’t even try to offer to comp it. Sadly, it took me 5 years to try Jimmy’s. We won’t go back. Other places close to eat that will offer better service and make sure you enjoy your food and experience. $18 for 2 salads that weren’t good is alot. Take care of your customers (*especially locals) so they will return.
