We ate with family before we headed off to Texas. It was very good food. Staff was very nice and thoughtful, Though slow on the filling up on drinks and coffee.

This was my second time eating at Jimmy’s Egg. The food was delicious and the waffle was perfectly fluffy (I hate thick waffles) . I had the Chicken and waffle meal. My husband had the meatlovers skillet topped with salsa and he loved it. He said the pancakes were the best he’s ever had! There was gravy that I was given which went with my chicken straps that was delicious, but for me putting the waffle with the strip and dipping it in the syrup worked best for me! I would definitely recommend visiting here for fresh food and great service!

Top notch franchise for breakfast and brunch. Some limited soups and sandwiches also available. Good staff, good coffee, and hard pressed to be disappointed with portion of the buttermilk pancakes.

This is the best Jimmy’s Egg we’ve ever been to hands down and we’ve eaten at multiple locations on each side of the city. The customer service and food is just so much better than the rest. We will definitely keep coming back to this one whenever we have a craving for great food and outstanding service. Thanks for making your customers feel like family!!! You guys rock!!!

My wife and I visited this Jimmy’s Egg location on a Monday morning after a scheduled appointment.. Neither of us had been to a Jimmy’s Egg in some time..

We were absolutely pleased with our experience, from our server to the food, everything was fantastic!!

Annika was super pleasant and attentive throughout our visit and ensured we had everything we needed the entire time.. Her level of customer service isn’t often experienced in today’s food service industry..

My breakfast with eggs over medium, ham, home fries, and a short stack of pancakes was prepared exactly as I expected it to be and was served hot, fresh, and flavorful..

My wife’s Farmer’s Scramble was another home run, and she was very pleased with her choice as well..

All in all, we were wholly satisfied with our choice of breakfast venues that morning.. This location stood up to our previous Jimmy’s Egg experiences for sure!!

Establishment has an ok basic breakfast.
All food, from the egg to the pancakes, tasted as it should, but nothing stood out.
Also, the grits were somewhat stiff, but the amount my meal cost, that could not be beat. You definitely get a lot of food for your buck.
The service was very good, and our waitress was polite, informative, and attentive.
But the atmosphere, although clean, was drab. It gave an old-school Denny’s vibe.
Also witnessed employees serving customers, the sitting down to fold silverware in napkins, then go back to serving customers, which I thought was unsanitary.
I would give this restaurant another try, but at another location.

Great place. Would eat an a Jimmy’s Egg location again.

There was a short line when we walked in, but everyone was seated very quickly and we hardly had to stand around.

Our server Debrah and she was wonderful.
The food was great, and it was fairly cheap.

We both had the ‘Traditional Breakfast’ which is build your own.
We added the ketchup to the hash browns ourselves btw.

A Disastrous Dining Experience

I regret to say that my recent visit to Jimmy’s Egg was nothing short of a culinary catastrophe, leaving me with an overwhelmingly negative impression of the establishment. From start to finish, the experience was marred by a series of unfortunate events that turned what should have been a pleasant meal into a regrettable dining disaster.

To begin with, the overall ambiance was lackluster, setting the stage for what would unfold. The cold, sterile atmosphere didn’t do much to lift my spirits as I eagerly anticipated a satisfying breakfast. Unfortunately, the problems only escalated from there.

The first indicator of trouble was the temperature of the food. I was served a plate of seemingly reheated, lukewarm dishes that failed to meet even the most basic standards of freshness. The lack of attention to detail in the kitchen was immediately apparent, setting a disappointing tone for the entire meal.

Shockingly, matters took a turn for the worse when our server made a grievous error – my plate was accidentally placed on my wife’s, resulting in an unappetizing collision of flavors. This negligence on the part of the staff not only disrupted the flow of our meal but also demonstrated a concerning lack of awareness and professionalism.

The culinary calamity continued as I discovered a hair in my daughter’s food. The mere thought of such a hygiene lapse is enough to make any patron’s stomach turn. This egregious oversight raises serious questions about the restaurant’s commitment to maintaining a clean and sanitary kitchen environment.

Adding insult to injury, I was served on a broken plate. This not only compromised the aesthetics of the presentation but also posed a potential safety hazard. It is disheartening to think that such a fundamental aspect of serving a meal was overlooked.

The beverage situation did not escape unscathed either. The drink syrup was disappointingly low, leaving my beverage tasting more like a watered-down disappointment than the flavorful experience one would expect at a breakfast establishment.

In conclusion, my visit to Jimmy’s Egg was marked by a litany of mishaps, from subpar food temperatures to service blunders and hygiene concerns. This experience has left me with a lasting impression of the restaurant as one that falls far short of the standards expected in the competitive dining industry. I sincerely hope that the management takes immediate action to address these issues, as they not only tarnish the reputation of the establishment but also compromise the satisfaction and well-being of its patrons.

Great little breakfast stop near Norman Oklahoma where I’m vending. Good cup of coffee and the meat lovers skillet was just fine. I created on my diet and tried the cinnamon roll. Nice and warm. Good quick breakfast stop!

I had never been to Jimmy’s Egg until today. I must admit it was packed at 10 am which was unexpected. The food portions were huge and tasted great. The staff were very kind and helpful. One final note. Cheaper than those other chain restaurants.
