Let me start by stating that I really don’t like leaving negative reviews…
That being said, three stars is all can give, and that’s being generous, and is solely based on the positive service for not getting just one star.
The food was severely disappointing. The eggs were cold. The biscuits and gravy were cold. The hash browns were slightly warm, but saturated with grease, I mean SATURATED! The chicken fried steak was a little hotter than warm.
My stomach was churning before I left the parking lot. I barely made it home before my guts exploded. One of the worst meals I have had in a very long time. Needless to say, this was a one and done visit for me. I will not go back.
On the positive side, the service from my server was outstanding.

This was our first time eating here. We parked on the wrong side at first and thought it was closed. ♀️ The door to enter is on the side with The Mattress Hub.
The food was pretty good, and the menu had a lot of options. My husband said his Cuban sandwich had a little too much mustard but was still good.
The skillet I had was good. I wouldn’t get it again just because it was a little too cheesy for my liking.
Our server was very kind and patient. The atmosphere was calm and family oriented.

Ordered the Pineapple up-side-down pancake combo. The scrambled eggs, bacon and sausage were cooked perfectly and the pancakes were exactly as they should be. It couldn’t have been better!! Elizabeth was our server, she was excellent.

Host seems less than thrilled to be working, and doesn’t want to be bothered with seating customers away from the restroom. Maintenance is lacking, fan runs constantly when front door is closed, issue started a few months ago and the ownership has not responded to the issue.

The service was slow, the waiter was very slow had to ask for refills on coffee, never checked up . The food was cold, just biscuits and gravy and eggs. Doesn’t take 30 min for premade items except eggs. They wasn’t busy either. Just bad overall. Not coming back to derby location again.

Our server, Alexis was great. Friendly and attentive. Food was delicious. Highly recommend trying the cinnamon roll pancakes! Get the mini stack and share afterwards. I had the Baja omelette. Good flavor and filling. This was our first visit and we will be back. Lots of kids from soccer there enjoying breakfast between games and the food still came out in reasonable time and hot.

I would give them FIVE STARS. But they discontinued the Conquistador Omelet! I am sorry, but you lose a star for eliminating my absolute favorite breakfast. Spicy, hot, piquant and AMAZING. Surprisingly good it was! At least give me the recipe so I can make it myself. Is it Sriracha mayonnaise or aioli mayonnaise? I must find out. I cannot possibly live without ever having another Conquistador Omelet.
