Jimmy’s Coffeehouse in Clinton, New Jersey is an absolute gem and a place I look forward to visiting every time I’m in town. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted by a warm, welcoming atmosphere and incredibly friendly staff who clearly care about their customers. The coffee is consistently excellent—rich, smooth, and perfectly crafted, whether you’re ordering a classic drip coffee or a specialty espresso drink.
I also tried their strawberry matcha, and it was absolutely delicious—perfectly balanced, refreshing, and not too sweet. You can really tell that high-quality ingredients are used. The food is just as impressive: everything tastes fresh and thoughtfully prepared, making it a perfect spot for breakfast or brunch.
The cozy and inviting space makes it ideal for catching up with friends, getting some work done, or simply enjoying a quiet moment with a great drink. Jimmy’s Coffeehouse truly feels like the heart of the community. Highly recommended!

Really lovely coffee house on Main Street in Clinton – great coffee, food was nice (recommend the turkey pesto panini), and the staff are pleasantly kind.
Very spacious with lots of indoor seating and even some outdoor options for nicer days. Art on the walls – which is for sale – is all well selected and compliments the environment.
If you’re ever passing through Clinton or making an NJ road trip – like we were – certainly recommend stopping here to support local business and grabbing a great coffee & snack for the road.

Absolutely amazing—smooth, rich, and brewed to perfection. But the real star of the show was the cheesecake crepe… hands down one of the best things I’ve ever tasted.
Jimmy, the owner, makes the experience even more special. He’s incredibly personable and has created an atmosphere that’s cozy, welcoming, and full of good vibes. He treated us like family—and that’s rare to find these days. Can’t recommend this place enough. We’ll definitely be back!

Its the perfect atmosphere for casual conversation, its not too loud or crazy – and its so inviting, you kind of dont want to leave!
The restroom is for everyone, pretty well maintained and stocked with soap & toilet paper. Air hand dryer instead of paper towels, so waste is kept to a minimum. No changing table for infants.
Overall, visit Jimmy’s and see for yourself how cute this place is for a quick pick me up. Prices are justifiable too.

This was our first visit to the coffee shop since the new ownership took over, and I’m happy to say it was a positive experience. The barista was genuinely welcoming. We tried a banana latte and a decaf latte, along with an egg clare and a tart. Both coffees were expertly crafted; the banana latte struck a perfect balance, with a distinct but not overpowering banana flavor – a real treat. While the egg clare was satisfactory, the tart was the standout. It had a wonderful flavor and texture that immediately brought to mind the exceptional pasteis de nata from Teixeira’s Bakery in Newark. Overall, it was a good visit, and we’ll definitely be returning.

I enjoy the clean environment now compared to how it used to be with the previous owners. I thought the banana latte was unique and not like what I’ve tasted before. I always look above and beyond when going to coffee places. This place overall is an improvement. I recommend this place to people who are studying. There are plenty of outlets. Food was also decent too!
