Jimmy’s Burn ‘N Turn is a mobile food trailer based out of Dickinson, ND. Established in 2023 by James Reker and Dave Ogren, the idea was born from a simple passion for cooking great food for family and friends. This passion continues and extends today to our valued customers. We’ve put our 30+ years of combined cooking and backyard BBQ experience to work serving up simple classics with great ingredients. I ordered the double mushroom and Swiss burger. I had been craving this for a long time and finally got to experience it! And it was sooo yummy and the burger was well seasoned and juicy and I asked for extra mushrooms and didn’t get charged for them. The taste of this burger was the best I’ve had from anywhere!!! I also got the cheese curds as a side and they did not disappoint!! This guys food is truly amazing and you can see the care he takes in everything he makes! I will definitely be back to try his other things! He did not disappoint!!! And customer service was top tier!!! Great job!!!

This place was amazing! Double Cheese was big and juicy one of the best burgers I’ve had in a long time. Tender wrap was amazing, the chicken was crispy. Brisket Mac Bowl was phenomenal the brisket melts in your mouth.

I ordered a cheeseburger, and he threw in a free side of fries. The sear on the patty was perfect, and it was so juicy and well-seasoned. Fries were phenomenal, I love the spice blend.
Seriously, I just drove from Cali to Florida, to New York and I am on my way to Washington. This was one of the best meals on the trip.
I wish I could take this guy with me back to Arizona. I’d eat this everyday for lunch.

Look ive been here in North Dakota for 8 years and I have been wanting some eastern NC bbq. Well Jimmy made that happen. He nailed the vinegar sauce and his pork is to die for. The best meal I have had here by far. That even includes Brickhouse Grill. This man knows what he is doing. He made this girls heart 100% happy. Ive asked different places to make the Eastern NC bbq sauce and he is the only one that did it for me. His food is to die for. Check him out I promise you wont regret it and if youbwant something different order the bbq sandwich with eastern nc bbq sauce.

Not impressed. JD’s is much better. Meat itself was dry, too salty, and didn’t have much taste. Chili was too tomato-y. Also, service wasn’t that friendly. I realize the guy was working in a Hot trailer, so maybe that was the reason, but I found it very gruff, curt, and cut/dry. Would have been nice to be greeted with a “How are you sir? Thanks for coming, hope you enjoy sir!”, or something like that.
I have about 30 Years in retail management, and pleasantries like that are par for the course. Wasn’t even asked if I wanted any sauces or anything either. Likely won’t be back.

AWESOME BBQ! Very generous portions, super tender and flavorful brisket and pulled pork, and the beans are bomb! Oh and the cheese curds got devoured right away, super fresh and hot. We will definitely be back ❤️ JD’s better watch out!
