Jimmy’s BBQ is delicious!! It’s located in a shopping center off Lancaster Ave in Malvern. There’s plenty of parking in the lot. It’s BYOB. It smells like heaven when you open the door. You order at the counter and they bring it to your table. There are several BBQ sauce options. We like the vinegar bbq sauce and the sweet and bold one. We ordered the bacon as well as the two meat platter which comes with two sides. We had the brisket and pulled pork with coleslaw and Mac and cheese as our sides. It was more than enough food for two people. They have bottled soda as well as fountain. They have Coke products. We live 30 minutes away, but the drive is worth it. The people are friendly and the food is delicious! We’ve been going to Jimmy’s for over 10 years.

Wowzer… This place is a hidden gem. We were looking at Indian food or here and my stomach is in love with Jimmys. The bbq is better than anything Ive had in Texas, Tennessee, & North Carolina. Puts every bbq chain to shame. We got the 3 meat platter – brisket, hot sausage, & pulled pork with smoked beans and whipped sweet potatoes along with 2 sandwiches and sides of smoked bacon and mac & cheese. Beans and bacon hands down amazing. The quality of the meats is also 5 star.. cant say enough as a fat boy this place is now on my “to go” list when I come up and see friends in Wilmington & Philly.

Really wanted to give 5 stars! Everything was very good but not excellent so a very solid 4 stars.
Dry BBQ and add your own sauce which I really liked.
A couple of the ribs, some of the brisket and the bacon was burnt in places and the meat was overall ‘dry’ which is in the description… but it tasted too dry… overcooked. That said, it was still tasty. All the sides we tried were delicious.
The staff/owner is SO nice. Really good vides. Definitely worth a shot if you live in the area and enjoy BBQ. Hopefully we were just there on a day when the cooker was a bit too hot.

Had a bad experience last night that ruined a holiday gathering of 12. Typically love this place. They have catered many of our parties. My wife called in and ordered food for 12 guests, several hours in advance. I went to pick up the order and the employees were rude and indicated they had no order for us. Once we confirmed the location, they then produced an order ticket. The girl at the front desk could have cared less, with attitude. The cook was rude and frustrated making excuses. Instead of being willing to help, he basically said he would need at least a half hour to get to the order. I told him to cancel and drove over to Mission BBQ (KOP) who took care of me quickly. It sucked because I lost an hour of time with my guests that were waiting at my home.

This BBQ joint was near my hotel, and I was in the mood for takeout.
The delicious smell when you walk in was a good omen.
Friendly service at the counter, I tried the 2 meat platter, with mac and cheese and beans, and a side of bacon, because clearly I have no intention of living a long, healthy life.
The bacon was wonderful, nice and fatty, the brisket was lean and had plenty of burnt bits, the chorizo sausage had just the right mix of spice and heat, the mac was rich and creamy, the beans were the perfect balance of savory and sweet. The sauce was sweet but smoky. Portions size was good, I had leftovers for breakfast! I got a bit of heartburn later on, but that could have been from the beer .

Had Jimmy’s cater Christmas and it was excellent. We did brisket, chicken legs and thighs, sweet potatoes and beans. Everything heated well based on the instructions and we found the price pretty reasonable when you consider the cost kf beef right now.

We were already fans of Jimmy’s BBQ, so we decided to have them cater our wedding. Best decision ever!! They were professional, communicative, and the food was to die for. Our guests said it was some of the best wedding food they’ve ever had, and I agree. Thank you so much for making our special day even better!

Has been my go-to for BBQ for YEARS! Other places have come and gone, but Jimmy’s has always been consistently good and reasonably priced. Even the sides are scrumptious. Basic eat-in tables. Great for take-out.

Delicious bbq!! Al of the meats we got were fork tender and had amazing sauces to accompany them. Staff were also super nice! Only complaint is that they do not have AC but sitting outside was nice 🙂
