This spot specializes in feeding Stanford’s athletes and coaches, so its menu is chock full of large, protein rich meals at affordable prices.
Everything I’ve seen come out of the kitchen looks well made, and the staff is super. I always get the tilapia with rice and veggies, and a side salad. It’s a tasty, simple, healthy, filling meal. If that’s what you’re looking for on campus, Jimmy V’s is a good bet.

Best food on Campus. The staff is always cheerful and happy.
Always a great time and experience dining there.

The food was decent, but the service wasn’t that good. The plates that the food was on were oily at the bottom and sides, so I had to wash/wipe my hands every time I touched the plate.

You can see why the place is beloved. Great mix of diner favorites and healthy options, with nice outdoor seating and cool indoors with screens on international events. Intended for campus people, parking is not easy to find.

I eat at Jimmy V’s frequently. Jimmy V’s has very good food and the prices are very reasonable. Can you stop and owner are very cool and the service is fast. And Jimmy views is located on the Stanford campus between Maple pavilion and the main tennis court.

This is a nice cafe to have breakfast and lunch. Varieties of delicious meals are available. They are very well prepared, and fresh. The staffs at Jimmy V’s are friendly, helpful and always smiling. The coolest part of this cafe is that the food are less expensive compare to other places in Stanford. Thank you for the top-notch service.

Overall, great food options and friendly service. The manager (/younger owner?) is a big bummer though. He’s consistently abrasive and just rude. Stands out even more when he tries so hard to bro up with everyone from athletics. If no one else is welcome, he should just make that policy explicit rather than continuing his behavior.

Jimmy Vs is OPEN! Great food and smoothies. Missed going here after the covid. Great place near the athletics center directly off of campus drive. Good eats and prices. Best place on campus to get food. A large menu and they don’t mind cooking up anything you like. Breakfast or lunch. Just ask. It’s all to go at this point. Went there today and it tasted like it did a year ago.

A go-to while living on campus that not as many grad students know about. Normally ordered their tacos, but have heard good things about their sandwiches and wraps which I think are more their standard wheelhouse. Prices reasonable by normal standards and downright cheap for Palo Alto

Rating this mainly based on its popularity with my co-workers. It gets visited at least daily by someone in my office. I never hear anything negative. Indoor and outdoor seating options, with the outdoor nicely improved after a recent renovation. Good portions, many options that seem to appease the athletics customers. It’s located at the edge of the campus Athletics area. Can’t really go wrong; have to try it at least once, and highly unlikely you’ll regret it.
