The food is great. The portion sizes are awesome. And I ABSOLUTELY LOVE the grits. I had the cinnamon roll French toast with grits and my husband had the country fried steak with toast and grits. The service was great. The atmosphere was very quiet and pleasant. The place was clean. Even though we have lived in Fredericksburg area for over 40 years, this was the first time we had been here. We will definitely be back. We want to try lunch and dinner. Thank you.

Jimmy the Greek is a charmingly decorated restaurant, and I bet it’s even lovelier for night dining with all the twinkle lights they have hung. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming from the moment we arrived.
What impressed us most was how clean the place was. We even saw the staff wiping down the menus, which was awesome to see and showed a true commitment to cleanliness.
The menu had a lot to choose from, and I had a hard time deciding, but I eventually went with the fall special: banana and pecan waffles. They were soft and flavorful, a perfect choice. My husband ordered the pretzel feta burger, and he said it tasted like it was freshly made.

My own complaint and its not their fault, we were seated near a large group of very loud ladies so it made it hard to relax and enjoy our meal. Except for when they got their food, then it was lovely as they couldn’t talk as much.

My first visit, I had to try the moussaka, one of my favorites. But the breakfasts looked fantastic, so I will definitely return. The restaurant is beautifully decorated, very cordial people, and everyone in my party enjoyed their meals.

Perfect in every way for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I travel with my job and go all over the United States. Jimmy has something for everyone especially the sweets. Not only Greek dishes but comfort food as well. I’ve come in for breakfast twice and dinner twice always a pleasure. The service is AWESOME always served with a smile and total knowledge of the menu.

I’ve lived in Stafford, Virginia for 29 years and never knew that Jimmy the Greek restaurant was in Fredericksburg. I met my brother for breakfast this morning and had a delicious breakfast. Dorothy was our waitress. She was very nice and very attentive of Any need we had. Highly recommend it for quality of food atmosphere and service.

So glad we finally stopped in! From the moment we walked through the door, the hostess was warm and welcoming and had us seated right away.
Our server was an absolute delight—attentive without hovering, super patient, and genuinely pleasant the whole time. She checked on us just enough to make sure everything was perfect and let us enjoy our meal at a relaxed pace.
The food came out quickly, was hot, and tasted great. The whole experience just felt easy, comfortable, and well taken care of from start to finish.
Safe to say, we’ll be back. Sometimes the best spots are the ones you finally decide to try.

Jimmy the Greek has become our favorite breakfast spot in the area, and for good reason. Recognized as one of Fredericksburg’s best, it’s consistently recommended by locals as one of the top breakfast places around.

Service:
The service is consistently excellent. While many servers deserve recognition, our most recent visit stood out thanks to Sam. She was friendly, helpful, courteous, and genuinely welcoming.

Atmosphere:
The restaurant features an open seating area, plus a separate side section with additional booths and tables. There’s a subtle Greek feel to the space that adds character while still feeling casual and comfortable.

Food & Popularity:
Because Jimmy the Greek is so popular, wait times can vary depending on when you arrive, especially for larger parties of five or more. If you come later in the morning, they may run out of popular items like biscuits and gravy, which are signature breakfast dishes. On rare occasions, we’ve also experienced food that was slightly underdone (such as eggs under-cooked too soft or French toast that was a bit soggy).

Overall Experience:
Jimmy the Greek is one of the best breakfast spots in the Stafford/Fredericksburg area and even in several surrounding counties. Despite a few minor drawbacks, it remains one of our top breakfast choices and easily earns five stars. Our experiences have been consistently positive, and the quality of both the food and service keeps us coming back. I highly recommend giving it a try!

Local family owned and operated diner that serves up consistent food in an extremely pleasant atmosphere. The waitstaff are friendly, experienced and attentive even when slammed during a full house. The prices are on par w/ the area which means we are semi-regulars due to inflation which has exceeded my government salary by over 25%
The breakfast portions are hardy and reminiscent of old school Northeast diners. And I repeat, the staff are knowledgeable, extremely pleasant and welcoming which is what we desire in our local family owned establishments ❤️

So the wife and I stopped at Jimmy the Greek restaurant this morning for breakfast. It did not disappoint! She had crab eggs Benedict and I had the steak omelette. Both were full of flavor and delicious! The home fries were awesome and the toast was some really good bread too! Great, courteous, and fast service. The food was hot, like it didn’t wait even a minute before we were served. The waitress was on top of things with drink refills and anything we needed. We will definitely be going back. We were very satisfied all the way around!
