The food is worth it. We almost didn’t go because of the pics from the inside but we had some of the best pasta we have ever had. Service is a little slow but that didn’t bother us. We were just enjoying our time. Get the garlic for the bread and the carbonara is fantastic. They also had some shrimp and chicken almost vodka sauce pasta that were both fantastic.

Every year we go to the vineyard this is on our list to go to. We always show up at 5 right when they open because it can get busy. The chicken hazel is my favorite dish. You know when you heat up leftover pasta and there’s a TON of oil at the bottom? I re-heated my leftovers twice NO oil and it tastes the same as when I got it in the restaurant. I also ordered takeout for the first time here. I had asked for extra sauce. They gave me an extra side of sauce in a container no charge. Best service. Best food, hands down. If they’re looking to open another location please consider Hingham harbor!

One of our favorite spots on the Vineyard. The salad needed help (salt, pepper and parmesan cheese) but my entree was delicious. I got the lobster and fettuccine (or linguini) special, served with the creamy garlic sauce. Yum! The roasted garlic app was yummy, but also needed some salt for it to pop.

I have been coming to Martha’s Vineyard for over 15 years and we have religiously ate at Jimmy Sea. The food is usually pretty good, however over the past three years, including today, the manager has treated me rudely. Tonight I went to the bar to order takeout and was told they are no longer accepting orders only to see her taking orders from “other” people. I have noticed how she treats white customers is vastly different than black. She is rude, and occasionally will yell at you if you don’t order quickly. As much as I love Italian food, I will not spend another dollar in this horrible establishment.

I come here all the time and generally love it but this year the quality is not as good as it has been. The cream garlic used to be bursting with garlic but not anymore. I have been disappointed twice this summer so it is not a fluke. They must have a new chef. The portions are still large but not as large as they were and I didn’t even want my leftovers.

Giant portion. Pasta cooked to perfection. Unbelievable sauce. 10 shrimp!! There’s literally no negatives here other than you will need to carry your leftovers to the car. Stop in and enjoy a wonderful and filling pasta dish. Definitely one of the best spots on the island.

Two of us dined at the bar in OB and had a great experience. The food was top-notch, the portions are huge as always, the ambience is perfect, and our bartender Melissa was phenomenal.

We really enjoyed our meal but there is a little room for improvement here.

Our favorite dining spot on MV! Unassuming restaurant on a side street in Oak Bluffs with delicious food and a flair for garlic. The appetizers paired with the bread, olive oil and salad option is a complete meal for those with smaller appetites (i.e. seniors). My wife loves their roasted garlic and I love their Jimmy Seas Spicy Sicilian Style Seafood Soup, a light and spicy but hearty and very delicious mixed seafood soup. When paired with their fresh bread, this soup was a wonderfully delicious and totally satisfying meal. The sign of the garlic is a place not to be missed.
