The last two times we ordered here, the sandwiches were over an hour before getting them. Tonight I placed my order at 6:54 (according to the email confirming my order). At 7:36 I got a notification that it was on its ways for delivery. It is now 8:06 and we still do not have our order. Last time it happened, I chalked it up to a fluke. This is now the nail in the coffin that I won’t ever order from them again. Absolutely atrocious

Edit as of 2/12/26:

Was craving a sandwich so thought I’d give them another chance. Added pictures of what I ordered, which is not close to what I got. Where on here does it say cucumbers? Cause it was loaded with them, and they were mushy. Also, not cut in half, had tomatoes, and gave me a Diet Coke. How hard is it to follow literal written directions?

Ordered a Club LuLu sandwich today, added cheese, pickles and cucumbers and it was a major disappointment. This is supposed to be a “favorite” meaning double protein and we got Slims, neither one of our sandwiches had the lettuce we ordered. A waste of nearly 40$.

Pretty consistently late if you set a delivery window. If you do order, make sure to set the delivery window 30 minutes to an hour before you actually want it to arrive

I’ve eaten here A LOT. You can see from other reviews, they suffer from the typical franchise stuff, and in a college town. This weekend students are starting to come back after the summer. Today we showed up in person for lunch and they actually closed and turned us away because they were too busy to take our order! That’s a first for me. Normally I’ll get a quote for a long wait and choose to leave. Today JJ’s wasn’t interested in making all the money they could. So, heads up, they aren’t ready for the students to return. I’ll think twice before coming back. So should others.

Getting hangry.
I placed an order through the app, and even added a generous 25% tip, which I normally cannot afford to do. It has been almost 2 hours, and my sandwich is not here yet. I’ve called the local store 23 times over the last hour, and no one has picked up. The message box is full, so I can’t leave a voicemail. And the app says that my order has been received, but says nothing about the sandwich being made or ready for delivery. No one has reached out to me about cancelling or delaying my order, and I’m starting to get really irritable. I would go down and check on the order myself, but I am disabled and can’t easily leave the house. And this isn’t the first time there have been major delays on a delivery from this location. This is getting ridiculous.

Got my order wrong, not once, but twice. And it was not complicated. A sandwich with no mayo and no tomato. First one was delivered with no meat, cheese or avocado. Doubled checked the receipt, and the order was correct, just put together incorrectly. They did send a new sandwich after I called to tell them what happened. Unfortunately the next sandwich had everything, including mayo and tomato. So I did not enjoy my lunch either time. Please double check orders, especially on a redo.

Title: Toxic Culture & Harassment at Jimmy John’s Pullman – Customers Deserve Better

I came into the Pullman Jimmy John’s expecting what I’ve always gotten from other locations — a quick sandwich and a straightforward interaction. Instead, I walked out shaken, disrespected, and disgusted by what I experienced inside.

While I was in the store, an employee named Kate stood by and allowed her friend to come up to me and say, to my face, that I “need to do meth.” Before I could even process that, her friend escalated to calling me “a piece of shit” and continuing with unprovoked insults. This was not banter. This was not a misunderstanding. This was targeted, deliberate harassment in a business open to the public.

Kate didn’t intervene, apologize, or show any concern — she simply let it happen. When an employee allows this kind of behavior in front of them without stopping it, it tells you exactly what kind of work culture is in place. Management clearly allows a toxic, unsafe environment where customers can be verbally attacked without consequence.

For context, I am a friendly, approachable person by nature. I talk to people, I’m open, and I try to be kind — and unfortunately, that sometimes means people try to twist things, play the victim online, or create drama to make me look like the problem. That’s exactly the vibe I got here: the kind of petty, cliquish energy where they think it’s funny to publicly humiliate someone and then act like they’re the ones being wronged.

This isn’t about being “overly sensitive.” This is about basic professionalism, respect, and decency in a workplace. If you can’t treat customers with dignity — regardless of whether they’re your “type” of person — you shouldn’t be in customer service.

Jimmy John’s corporate should take a hard look at this location. No one should walk in for a sandwich and walk out having been verbally harassed, insulted, and targeted. Until management cleans house and addresses this culture problem, I won’t be back — and I’ll make sure people in Pullman know exactly why.

I like Jimmy Johns. Their sandwiches are great and feel more fresh than a lot of other sandwich places, and one of the few places that delivers onto campus for a reasonable fee. I probably get it 1-3 times per month when I forget a lunch and can’t get away. Most times it has been 20-40 minutes, right in the window of when they say it will be. Lately, however, their delivery service has been not good, often taking >60 minutes.

Today, I placed an order at 11:31. At 12:38 I called and they said their drivers were way behind, still out on a deliver, and that mine would be the next batch out. I called again at 1:30 and they said the drivers still weren’t back from the previous delivery. They called me back at 1:40 saying their drivers returned, clocked off, and they wouldn’t be delivering any more orders. Their only offer was for me to come pick it up or to cancel the order.
I guess I will be really hungry for dinner tonight.

Update: 10/2025 – After getting a lot better for a while, their delivery times are getting atrocious again. The three times I have ordered in the last 30 days have been a hair under 2 hours to be delivered.

Really fast sandwich shop. Most of the time it takes them about a minute after you order to put your food out. Friendly, trendy and cheap(ish). It’s not the best place to dine in – it would probably feel a little awkward. But we take the food out and it’s nice.

I’m only giving this 2 stars because the sandwich was good. But this was NOT FREAKY FAST took 57 minutes to get my not freaky fast food. My coworker ordered dairy Queen and got it within 13 minutes. I had to sit there on my 30 minute break and watch her eat her food while I waited for mine. Super disappointed.
