Over time this place has gotten more and more stingy. The employees are always nice but I can tell they’ve been instructed to basically put nothing on their sandwiches. I’ve been a fan of Jimmy John’s for a long time but the last 5 visits have been terrible. Either the sandwiches are basically bread without toppings, they’re soggy with an insane amount of sauce or missing additions that were ordered. This last visit was so awful that I actually called and told her about the order issues. She was very kind and gave me a credit. I came tonight to use the credit and it was worse than ever before. The bread was burnt and overcame the ingredients easily. The way that I couldn’t taste the meats and Italian oil stuff because the bread was so hard and burnt was terrible. The employees, like always, were very very nice. It’s unfortunate that they work for a company that cares more about money and portion sizing than putting out good food.

“Freaky fast” my ass…Waiting 2 hours for a sandwhich delivery when i live less than a mile away is unacceptable…you charge me for delivery then an hour and a half later i get a message saying some uber driver is going to get my order and he has other stops to make…not only has my food been improperly temperature controlled for 2 hours, but I am wasting my day waiting around for this damn sandwhich. This place is not worth ordering food from period. And before you “the owner” ask for more feedback I already wrote to corporate 😉

We’ve come a long way from the original Jimmy John’s that was across from UNR for a long time, and NOT in a good way. Those sandwiches were so GOOD! Loaded, fresh, flavorful, and packed with Meat, Cheese, and Toppings! You had us hooked…The things they’re passing off as “sandwiches” these days are basically a LOT of bread, meat sliced thinner than Toilet Paper, and the Skimpiest amount of toppings I’ve ever seen on a Sandwich in my life. The last few sandwiches I’ve gotten there leave a LOT to be desired, even when you order extra toppings, you get a minimal, skimpy amount. I’ve given this place a few chances, but I am definitely done wasting my money there. What am I even paying and tipping for? Do better, Jimmy John’s!
Sincerely,
A Long Time, Loyal Customer

The food and quality is the same at most all franchise locations that I’ve been. This location is no different. Nothing to write home about, but the food is still good. The staff was somewhat mannequin-like and could have been friendlier.

Had 3 sandwiches from here in the past week and they were all great!
I have had 2 toasted Italians without mayo, cause Italians shouldn’t have mayo (personal opinion) and they were sooo bomb.
Thanks guys! I may even grab another one tomorrow lol

Always a good experience. I just wish Reno had more locations, specifically near Cold Springs.

This is one of the best take out sandwiches I’ve ever had. I ordered the new toasted roast beef and cheddar online. It seems they got all the customization correct. Generous with the meat. Very satisfied.

I don’t know what happened to this place. When I went to UNR they were great, fast and always got orders out properly. Lately sandwiches have been coming super late (45 minute wait). The sandwiches haven’t been being made properly (ignoring customization parameters). I just placed an order at 2 o clock today and the sandwich didn’t even leave the store for 30 minutes. It then took another thirty minutes to arrive (I live about 5 blocks away off of Evan’s). A hour for a freaky fast sandwich shop less than 2 mins away from me? The sandwich again wasn’t made as placed on the app (ingredients etc), they forgot the chips I paid for, there was no straw for the beverage. When I called to rectify the situation, I got an unsympathetic, “we’ll credit your account 2 dollars”. Bang up customer service…I’ve been ordering from you guys for almost 7 years at this point. But yall lost a customer for good today.

It was the only Jimmy John’s open late on Saturdays. Figuring out exactly where it was located was a little bit of a pain because Google maps said it was located inside Circus Circus. Which it definitely is not. Once we found it though we were happily surprised to see they had their own little parking lot (I really hate street parking). The service was quick and the atmosphere was nice. The staff was very friendly as well. Since it had taken us a while to find the building I had to use the restroom. The restrooms were very clean. They needed a code to get into so there weren’t random people off the street sneaking into them and making the restrooms gross. All and all it was a good experience. Hopefully Google changes the part about it being IN the casino.
