Over all they always make sure my needs are meet and that my time is pleasant
The Layton staff was incredibly kind and explained that all Jimmy John’s locations are able to heat deli meat and that it is a very simple accommodation. Because of this, they told us there was no need to drive to Layton and that we could just go to the Kaysville location since we were already nearby.
While my husband was in the Smith’s parking lot, he decided to stop by the Kaysville store despite them not answering the phone. When he went in, he was immediately met with aggression and rudeness from the employee. She refused the request without any explanation and repeatedly told him to either order or leave. He tried to speak with the manager because of how unprofessional the interaction was, but the response remained dismissive. He eventually left because he no longer felt welcome.
He then called the Layton location again to double check and they reassured us that this accommodation is allowed, easy, and commonly done. We went to Layton, where the staff was phenomenal, welcoming, and handled everything with care and professionalism.
To be clear, if the Kaysville location truly could not accommodate this request, we would have completely understood. However, it was very apparent that they simply did not want to do so. I would also expect a corporate location to prioritize the safety of its guests, especially when the request is directly related to pregnancy safety and requires such a simple fix.
For a prominent, family-oriented area, this location was not family friendly at all. If they were unable to accommodate, the situation could have been handled far more professionally with a simple explanation. I have already reached out to corporate and will be advising others not to visit this location.
To much bread. Honestly about 70% is just extra and to much bread. Over toasted hard. Or just not toasted and all bread.
Few ingredients make up the actual food you will be eating and most of the time its not put together in a way that any of it can stay inside The sandwich. More often than not. The ingredients are siding and slipping out due to have the tomatoes and that is our put in. The meat is heavily skipped on nowadays. I’m not sure exactly why, but ordering a chicken bacon ranch should have more than just a few pieces of chicken within it. And you would suspect having actual bacon, but it seems it’s just small bits of it within the sauce that they put in of the ranch.
Gives you a feeling that you’re being heavily taken advantage of or just two of these sandwiches will leave you from Costco about 19 bucks.
Even my own personal low quality sandwiches can out match these things and I could make at least 4 or 5 at the cost of $19.
There really is just no reason for me to come back here or want to eat at JJ’s anymore.
