Cleo took my order and my pay in the drive through yesterday. I was having a hard time finding a sandwich and she helped me find the cheapest alternative for what I wanted and was very patient with me. She was very welcoming. My order was made very fast. I will be coming back!

My husband called ahead and contacted the Layton location because the Kaysville store did not answer. Since I am pregnant, I cannot safely eat deli meat unless it is heated first. This was not a request to change or customize the sandwich recipe in any way. It was simply a pregnancy-related safety request.

The Layton staff was incredibly kind and explained that all Jimmy John’s locations are able to heat deli meat and that it is a very simple accommodation. Because of this, they told us there was no need to drive to Layton and that we could just go to the Kaysville location since we were already nearby.

While my husband was in the Smith’s parking lot, he decided to stop by the Kaysville store despite them not answering the phone. When he went in, he was immediately met with aggression and rudeness from the employee. She refused the request without any explanation and repeatedly told him to either order or leave. He tried to speak with the manager because of how unprofessional the interaction was, but the response remained dismissive. He eventually left because he no longer felt welcome.

He then called the Layton location again to double check and they reassured us that this accommodation is allowed, easy, and commonly done. We went to Layton, where the staff was phenomenal, welcoming, and handled everything with care and professionalism.

To be clear, if the Kaysville location truly could not accommodate this request, we would have completely understood. However, it was very apparent that they simply did not want to do so. I would also expect a corporate location to prioritize the safety of its guests, especially when the request is directly related to pregnancy safety and requires such a simple fix.

For a prominent, family-oriented area, this location was not family friendly at all. If they were unable to accommodate, the situation could have been handled far more professionally with a simple explanation. I have already reached out to corporate and will be advising others not to visit this location.

Can’t believe I paid $9 for ONE measly piece of turkey on my sandwich?!! Jimmy John’s, not what I expected or experienced at other locations, and or competitors. Also why have a sign promoting “toasted” sandwiches if you will only toast the speciality ones?!?! As a professional in the Food and a beverage industry, this was disappointing. Next time I’ll drive 10 extra minutes for Jersey Mikes.

It was a chilly October afternoon when I moseyed into what appeared to be a fine Jimmy John’s establishment…boy was I wrong. The door says this store is a training location so I assumed the highest of quality service was about to be presented to me, but I am left thinking that sign actually meant everyone in this store was still in training. I am usually a simple gal to please, and all I wanted was a toasted sandwich to warm up my belly. I go to the counter and order my favorite sandwich…#1 the Pepe, no mayo, only to be rudely informed they won’t toast my sandwich because it’s not a favorite? ITS MY FAVORITE?! and when I asked why, I was replied with a blank stare. The boy working the counter looked at me as if he was toasted himself..I decide to just let it go, and when I finally received my cold Pepe I was shocked when it still had mayo on it!! By the time I made this discovery it was far too late to go back and have it corrected. Needless to say, I am beyond disappointed with this Jimmy John’s and they need more training on their customer service and sandwich toasting skills.

AT First I was excited to see a drive through option at a Jimmy John’s. But I think maybe it’s a trade off that id prefer they didn’t do. Or maybe JJ’s just do not make quality sandwiches anymore.

To much bread. Honestly about 70% is just extra and to much bread. Over toasted hard. Or just not toasted and all bread.

Few ingredients make up the actual food you will be eating and most of the time its not put together in a way that any of it can stay inside The sandwich. More often than not. The ingredients are siding and slipping out due to have the tomatoes and that is our put in. The meat is heavily skipped on nowadays. I’m not sure exactly why, but ordering a chicken bacon ranch should have more than just a few pieces of chicken within it. And you would suspect having actual bacon, but it seems it’s just small bits of it within the sauce that they put in of the ranch.

Gives you a feeling that you’re being heavily taken advantage of or just two of these sandwiches will leave you from Costco about 19 bucks.

Even my own personal low quality sandwiches can out match these things and I could make at least 4 or 5 at the cost of $19.

There really is just no reason for me to come back here or want to eat at JJ’s anymore.
