Continuously Changing Hours of Operation. I don’t know when this restaurant is open or closed. Two months ago I drove to this restaurant around 8 pm. I arrive and the restaurant is closed early. The hours of operation changed. Yesterday, I decided again I would like something from Jimmy John’s. The time is almost 4 pm. I Google search Jimmy John’s on Essen Lane in Baton Rouge to view the hours of operation. The closing time was stated as 6 pm. I arrive to Jimmy John’s suffering through rush hour traffic at 4:30 pm. To my horror and dismay a young lady informs me that the restaurant closes at 4 PM. Really? How is this possible? Please Permanently Close this restaurant. Only a few months ago the restaurant closed around 9 or 10 pm. Then, it started closing at 8 pm. A couple of months later, I drive there again and discover it closes at 4 pm and not 6 pm as stated on it’s Google page. This is ridiculous! I will not visit this Jimmy John’s or any other Jimmy John’s again. I really hope this place closes down and another restaurant that has more consistent hours of operation takes over the lease.

Very slow compared to other locations around the city. Today, it took 10 minutes from pulling up to the ordering board to getting my food and the staff was unapologetic as if this was normal. It’s not usually that bad, but I have found this location to be more slow than “freaky fast.” The food is good and accurately made to order, though, and your mileage may vary with wait times as some other reviews indicate.

They’re good. Not super fast but definitely not slow either. It’s very clean inside. The staff is okay but not very motivated or attentive and the location is in an odd spot so you better hope you’re on the right side of the road because you can’t go left to get in you have to either u-turn at the light or cut through the gas station next door.
