I just spent 40 dollars to have 2 sandwiches and 2 drinks delivered. My sandwich was so full of lettuce I couldn’t even see the tuna. The lettuce also was very sour for some reason, and I feel as if a Lunchables came with more meat than this sandwich. The other sandwich my co worker had the same issue litterally felt as if someone was messing with us. Will def. drive to Subway next time.

Absolutely the worst experience. We ordered 5 sandwiches online & sent my grandson to pick them up. He waited over an hour. Other customers came & went. The 2 employees working offered no explanation to him for the delay in getting sandwiches except that they had a problem with baking of the wheat bread. Finally my son-in-law went to JJ’s to see what had happened. Grandson still waiting & no sandwiches had been made. Son-in-law said to use another bread other than wheat. Two more customers came & went & still we had no sandwiches. Son-in-law told JJ employee to cancel our order, credit back our payment & he walked out !! Very unprofessional ! Will not return. Subway is fast, friendly & cares for their customers.

First of all, I love Jimmy John’s and have eaten at dozens of locations across several different states. Second, I understand this location just opened in the past few weeks. With that said, this visit was an absolute letdown and the worst experience (actually, it would be more appropriate to say it’s the only bad visit I have had having eaten at JJs dozens of not hundreds of times).
It was around 8 pm on Sunday evening when my wife and I went to this JJs, after months of excitement about McCook getting one. When we pulled up there were 3 vehicles in the drive thru line and one person waiting inside for an order. Otherwise, the place was dead. We waited several minutes before anyone came to take our order, which is fine, one employee was sweeping and it appeared the rest were helping the drive thru customers. I ordered my usual, Italian Night Club with extra Jimmy peppers, and my wife ordered a veggie sandwich without mayo. We waited 15 minutes for our two sandwiches, during which my wife observed they had shut down the sandwich making table. Finally, she asked about our sandwiches and we received them a few minutes later, likely that they had forgotten our order. At that time no one else has come into the restaurant. A 15 minute wait isn’t long at all in a restaurant, but it is not exactly freaky fast, especially since the place was dead.
The food seemed fresh, however my sandwich didn’t have any Jimmy peppers and my wife’s sandwich had mayo on it. The receipt was correct, our order was just wrong. The food was fine otherwise, but it’s Jimmy John’s so you know what to expect.
We’re not in a hurry to come back to this location, but I will update this review if we have a better experience.

This afternoon I walked into my now former usually eating spot Jimmy John’s. They been open for months now. The food was always fresh, & great. But the service has always been less than par. I went in, music was on loud, & no one was in site. I sat in one of the seats my stomach by then growling for me to feed it for something like 15 minutes. This not the first time this has happened, & I’m guessing it won’t be the last, but I can bet they keep that up their doors might close as I’ve seen happen to other establishments that offer poor customer service. I guess though in today world not much can be expected that department. So I left the place, & walked back to my tried, & true eating place I’ve been going to often since I’ve been coming to McCook; Taco John’s. Yes not the most healthiest option, but the food is always fresh, the service always reliable. So a big shout out to Taco John’s of McCook for the most consistent, & fresh service available in town!

Absolutely horrible. Thought a drive thru Jimmy John’s would be even faster, but it has taken at least 30 minutes to get food while waiting for the car in front of me (I’m still currently waiting with a baby crying in the back). Highly recommend not coming to this location if you are wanting a quick food pick up.

I’ve been to Mccook’s Jimmy John twice in two days now and each time they put only 1 slice of turkey on each sandwich and that was it. I then went to Holdrege’s Jimmy Johns and they had it perfect, do better McCook.

Food’s fine and the service is decent…if you go drive-thru. Expect to wait half an hour if you order inside, or an hour if you order takeout online. Isn’t even the first time I’ve had to sit and wait a whole lunch break for an order because I made the mistake of not going through the drive-thru.

I managed a few double Js for 6 years so everytime I go into one I’m ready to be disappointed by things made wrong or parts of my order missing.
My car broke down in Mccook and I needed dinner so made my order for delivery. Food got to my hotel quickly!
The sandwich was one of the most perfect ones I have had in my hands in years. The bread was baked to literal perfection, all of the portions were on point, and the veggies were all fresh. THAT is the taste/texture of what I crave out of a JJ Sammie that most stores miss the mark on!
I did not interact with anyone so I can’t attest to the employees but damn that sandwich was fire. Thank you for making my crappy day so much better!

This place is hard to find, but Google maps was spot on. The food was good but the bread tasted old. The place and bathrooms are clean. The service was a little slow, but friendly.
