The Highland Illinois Jimmy John’s runs like a well oiled machine. The staff is fast, friendly, and efficient. The have yet to get my order wrong.

Customer service needs attention. I worked the restaurant industry for over 15 years. The way they handled what wasn’t even a complaint was far beyond unprofessional. Two times in a row I have had to call to check on my order because wait times were 45 mins to an hour long. I am located 3 minute drive time from the restaurant. I mean we are making sandwiches here, don’t require cooking ect… Both times I called to check on my order I got nothing but an ear full from person who answered the phone about how busy they are and all the different big orders. Look im at my job, just trying to get some lunch and spending well over 20$ between tax, Delivery fee and tip for driver for just one meal. Customers do not want to feel invaluable and basically told that they have no idea when their food will arrive after they’ve waited 45-1Hour. I know what a lunch rush is and I know what it feels like, dont play me.

So, Jimmy Johns sent me a gift card a while back from another botched order of Wraps. I said, Well I’ll just go in and watch them make them…… That went well. I figured they got it sorted out. So today I did another order online. I asked for Bacon on all 3 wraps (it was a add on that costs extra) (No I did not open each wrap in the drive through) I get home and My wife opens hers, and said “They did it again!” Sure enough; there is NO Bacon and there were tomatoes which I explicitly requested not be put on her wrap (she cant stand them). Looked at the other 2 wraps and yup NO BACON. I get it; is fast food; I also get the employees are young. But this is the 2nd Time now (alibet not in a row) that my order was NOT correct and I paid for the additional toppings……. I think I will be ordering from Edwardsville (10 miles out of my way) to get a correct order.

Not going to lie this probs the best Jimmy John’s experience I’ve had. The staff was super friendly and careful with the packaging to ensure everything I needed was in the bag plus napkins. Greeted as soon as I walked in. Good smells achieved and food is fire

Tiffany is downright and absolutely amazing!!! We come here every Wednesday night during Select Softball for the Lady Roughnecks when they have practice just to eat Jimmy John’s and say hi to Tiffany. I think she may be the assistant manager or something? I cannot remember what she told us. Regardless, she is amazing. She already starts prepping to get our subs ready once she see’s us. She is always friendly and has the biggest smile on her face. The whole team there is amazing, but she always takes it up a few notches when it comes to customer service.
You guys should be so grateful to having such a wonderful person on your staff as they are hard to find these days.
Softball season starts soon with practices in a few months and we cannot wait to get back to Highland on a weekly basis to enjoy the good subs and hopefully Tiffany is still around!
I know my stepdaughter loves see her as well. She says the cookies are always better when Tiffany is around…..I don’t think she understands that the cookies are premade haha.

Jimmy John’s is a great sandwich shop if you want cold cuts! the restaurant and kitchen are very clean when people have dietary restrictions they take extra care to make sure your sandwich is perfect! They are diligent when mistakes are made and quick to fix any errors if made. There is a good variety in sandwiches and sides. And it always tastes amazing no matter what you get!

Food’s what you expect, people are friendly. But this store does not participate in the “so fast you freak” slogan. Very, very slow delivery in a small town. Hasn’t gotten better in the past year. I have yet to receive any order in less than 45 minutes from the time the driver left the store and I live 5 minutes away. Food is routinely off-temperature when it arrives and I have yet to receive bread that wasn’t stale and hard.
Also, they will not cut sandwiches in half even if requested.
None of this is new info to the owners. They just don’t care.
