I get Jimmy John’s about once a week but this was only my second time at this location. I got home with my sandwich and the bread was so hard that I could knock on it so loud my dogs literally thought that someone was at the front door. I didn’t have the energy to go back, but given I paid $12 for a sandwhich and some chips it was disappointing that I couldn’t eat it. This bread was very clearly several days old… I’ve never had an experience like this before at any other JJ’s locations. I will say the gentleman in the drive through window was so nice, which is why I gave this location 2 stars instead of 1. Had I decided to drive 15 minutes back, I’m sure he would’ve made it right but I didn’t have the time.

The staff there was super friendly! The service was fast and the food looks and tastes fresh! The bread was not stale and seemed warm as if it just came out of the oven. I would recommend this sandwhich shop to anyone looking for a quick healthy meal.

Usually don’t like to leave negative reviews but I placed a mobile order and waited almost 40 MINUTES in line for my sandwich. I’m sorry but that is just ridiculous. I wish I was exaggerating. That’s the longest I’ve ever waited in a drive thru- if I didn’t already pay I would have just pulled out of line.

there is hardly any food options in sugar grove so inget stuck with jimmy johns often. and they ALWAYS mess up my sandwich. it isnt complicated either! but they always either put mayo on (my only specification- no mayo) or they dont put something on that they were supposed to. and when theyre out of capicola they dont tell you they just put extra of the other meat and still let you pay for a multi-meat priced sandwich.
also today my bf got a turkey sandwich and there was seriously almost no meat on it, and the meat that was was like the clumped up edges of the turkey. i asked him if they were rude bc this is ridiculous! just look at that sandwich i posted pictures of.
anyways, this location is unable to do their very easy jobs so i thought id share to prevent other people from wasting money.
and if the owner or manager is reading this- do better! dang!

Recent price changes at this location now have a favorite sub at $11.50 with tax. Exactly 2 dollars more than the Yorkville location. I will no longer be a patron at these prices, Jimmy John’s isn’t that good.

Freaky slow, whether you use the mobile app, order in the drive thru, or eat inside. Takes forever to get my order every time. Sometimes I will wait over an hour for the notification that my order is ready for pickup. My tip for you is this: if you have a mobile order, go up to the counter and prompt the workers to make your order, otherwise it might not happen.
