We pulled up to the store at about 5:30PM Friday night. The chairs were already placed up on the tables. When the 2 workers inside cleaning the store saw us pull in to the parking spot, they scrambled to hide. We thought that maybe they were drive-thru only so we pulled around to the drive-thru where another car was waiting. Still no service was had. Taking our business elsewhere.

I had a sad experience at this Jimmy John’s located at 2061 Barrington Rd, Hoffman Estates, IL. I work directly across the street from this location and placed an order for a single sandwich—something that should’ve been a quick and easy delivery.
After waiting over 30 minutes with no update, I decided to call the store to check on the status. When I finally got through, I was met with an incredibly rude and unprofessional response from a female manager. Instead of apologizing or offering any sort of explanation, she immediately started yelling and told me she had no drivers and didn’t seem to care that I’d been waiting.
When I calmly pointed out that her tone was rude and aggressive, she denied it and became even more dismissive and confrontational. I ended up canceling my order out of frustration, and now I’m still waiting for the refund to process on my end.
It’s completely unacceptable for a manager to treat customers this way—especially when the issue could have easily been resolved with basic courtesy and communication. I’ve ordered from many Jimmy John’s locations and never had a problem like this before, but this particular store clearly needs better management and customer service training.
If you’re in the area, I’d recommend avoiding this location entirely. It’s disappointing to see such poor service from a brand that usually prides itself on being “freaky fast” and customer-focused.

I typically get drive through here once a month without any issue. I had to repeat myself in the drive through tonight; something I assumed is a normal occurance over a speaker and really no big deal. Apparently, the kids working thought it was hysterical based on my receipt. It’s really not a big deal, but like, am I not allowed to get it cut in half? That it an option in your app…I’m like not making a big deal out of this, just seemed really weird to put on my receipt…

This location is consistent! On incorrect orders. Today, I asked for 1/2 the sandwiches to have peppers. I did ask for a receipt for my order number and cashier says “just wait.” I open it and immediately see it on all the sandwich so I let them know. Guy starts picking them off. I go excuse me can you remake that now the oil is over that other half… Then I get my new one and the turkey is shaved down to the last thinnest pieces, no slice, warm for some reason and falling apart. General manager says meat is always like that. Ma’am I’ve eaten Jimmy John’s many times, I also know what a sandwich is and I’ll probably just make my own next time because this location conveniently by my job can’t do so. Following, they gave me a hard time for I don’t know what reason on providing the receipt. Seriously, do better.

I’ve been to this Jimmy Johns twice. Both times our orders were perfect and the sandwiches almost seemed to be more packed than other Jimmy John’s locations. Sometimes you can get a Jimmy John’s that skimps a little on the meat but that wasn’t true at this location. The first time our order was ready almost immediately. The second time it took a couple of minutes but the drive thru line was literally wrapped around the building. It was obviously a very busy weekday lunch period.
I don’t know why this location has so many bad reviews, we’ve had two great experiences here! Nothing beats popping in for a sandwich before starting a four hour road trip. Especially when this Jimmy John’s is 30 seconds from I90.

There was a small issue, they forgot my daughter’s pickle as a side. I called the store and the female manager had a pickle at my house in minutes. So fast it was actually freaky. Happy Mom, happy kid. Their pickles are her favorite! Shout out to who ever is working today! This location has NEVER made a mistake on any of my orders in the past! 10/10 star service! Thank you!!!

Usually is a typical visit with no issue and fairly quick service. I always order ahead on the app too, which should mean quick and accurate.
For some reason this time, it took forever for our food to be ready. Unacceptable when ordering ahead of time. On top of that, with all the time it took, they got a sandwich completely wrong which meant the person couldn’t eat it.
Pretty disappointed in my visit this time with this location.

So much for freaky fast service… I ordered 2 sandwiches and it took over an hour ans 20 minutes to get a mile to my house. This location just sucks. They close early when they feel like it. What is the point of having hours if you don’t stick to them. My husband went to get me chips because I’m pregnant. They closed in 15 minutes, they seen him walking up and locked the doors and turned the lights off. I’ll never order from this location again!

Ordered about three times from here. No complaints. Delivery is professional and quick unless you order during the lunch rush and then it can take a bit longer, but that’s to be expected. Everything was fresh, tasty, and when you say extra, they do extra.
