So….in 2019 was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. lost 52 pounds in less than 2 months. The cancer center cut it all out saving life. But that was 1/2 the battle. Cancer had destroyed the digestive system, couldn’t eat food without getting extremely sick. 3 years after surgery, was still struggling with eating, wife suggested a radical idea. Jimmy John’s. It sounds crazy, but was able to hold it down…full recovery had finally started. Jimmy John’s helped with recovery. The sandwiches are always perfect. Wish them all the best for making sure every order is perfect as they understood the situation and cared far more than necessary. Thank you for life. Thanks, Katy.
How does one thank a restaurant concerned with helping one survive cancer? Will have this genetic cancer for life. Last year the Cancer returned permanently disabling, and Jimmy John’s is still unknowingly taking care. .

Sandwiches are normally pretty good. I tried to wrap this time really bland and nasty. No flavor was supposed to be kicking ranch no spice tasted like water. Not sure what happened.

My wife and I stopped in for dinner before heading to Mt Rushmore. We had wonderful sandwiches and service. The place was clean and friendly. We were very pleased with this JJ location. One of the best ones we have seen.

In supporting an Elder’s lunch, we searched for a shop that could produce 120 sandwiches, fresh and with enough time to make a 1.5 hour drive to arrive by 9:00 am.
All said they don’t open until 10:30, so we were coming up empty. We then called the Stumer Road location and Katie said she’ll come in as early as needed to give enough time for our pick up and travel.
We did so and are very grateful for Katie’s cheerful desire to help. (24) sandwiches each, of BLT, Ham, Italian, Roast Beef and Turkey were incredibly fresh, delicious and were served to an Elder’s gathering on Pine Ridge.

Their roast beef is juicy and the flavors are amazing. The sandwich still have a crunch and texture even if the beef is soaked with it’s jus.

We were there yesterday, and the workers were extremely friendly. All of them. The food was also ready very quickly. On top of that, when I forgot my phone on the table, the order girl actually chased us down in the parking lot! Superior service; highly recommended.

If someone makes an order ahead of time do not make it half an hour before that’s scheduled to be done. What’s the point of a toasted sub that is now soggy and cold? Employee did not understand this concept. North side JJs is better.

I’ve only been to this location about 6 times in the last year, and in all but one experience the person taking my order both in-store and at the drive through were both short and rude, right from the get-go. I’ve worked in the food industry most of my life, so I always go out of my way regardless of my mood that day to be respectful and friendly to food workers, because I know how often people aren’t. To just be treated like crap right off the rip is incredibly annoying. The passive aggressiveness, just plain rudeness, and then to be ignored is just wild.
I wouldn’t recommend anyone to go to this location, to pay for what are basically just overpriced cold cuts, and be treated like crap for it.
Baken Park has always been a friendly, and positive experience on the other hand.

Couple months ago went through the drive through ordered and then didn’t give me my card back at the drive through. Had to come alllll the way back after I was somewhere else and realized I didn’t have my card. Then I come through the drive thru today ordered, and then they tell me my card doesn’t work. They tried to use the tap and swiping so it’s not going through. I go in the parking lot call my bank to make sure something isn’t wrong with my card, my bank confirms nothings wrong with my card. I go back inside explain the situation and want to try my card again to pay. Did the tap to pay and it worked instantly.. a little frustrating..
