We tried to order a delivery. It was before dark at 3:30pm. We called to order an Derrick( only manager of store he claimed) snapped an said we don’t deliver after dark. I asked since when and he lied an told me corporate rule AND IT WASNT DARK IT WAS 3:30 pm today. Then talked about address because he said corporate has set a radius. Ok gave address. He said no don’t deliver there and he was snotty rude, talked fast an over me when I asked more questions because I’ve seen drivers past dark an outside said radius. I’m exactly half mile down the road away and just had a delivery a week ago AFTER dark so I was curious what changed. He said if they delivered then I will take action on that employee. Wow it didn’t need to go that far. A simple no we can’t is fine I asked his name and position an again snapped an said this is my store and this is how it’s ran. Extremely reluctant to give a name. When he finally have a name he intentionally said very fast an rambled corporate number off I didn’t catch it an asked again. He said all this stuff he said corporate would confirm. I wasn’t even asking it go that far. So I did call Corporate and said the no delivery after dark rule wasn’t true and I took a screenshot of that from website direction from Corporate customer service I spoke to. Yes they have a radius but I was within it at 3:30 pm when it’s not dark. I love the food an no complaints there however this whole conversation an the disrespectful deminor didn’t need to happen. If a place can’t do it then ok. I guess someone from Corporate office is supposed to do a follow thru. Just wanted a freaky fast sub is all an I got lied to an snapped at. Lesson learned. Look it up yourself on the website.

I’ve been to a lot of JJs and this was by far the fastest my sandwich was prepared. It was literally ready for me by the time I paid. And it was made right and tasted great. Highly recommended!!

Enjoyed the new kicken ranch wrap. Usually go with the turkey tomorrow. Decided to be adventurous today. Didn’t disappoint.

The food is good and consistent. The drive thru, however, is a nightmare. It only fits 2 cars before you block parking lot traffic.
Update 2024. Drive-thru is still a nightmare, but food & service are still spot on. Big shout out to Austen & the whole JJ’s crew at the Alexandria, MN location – they are simply awesome! The app wouldn’t take my coupon, so I walked into the store to order. Everyone stepped up, took my order, and honored my coupon. Dinner was delicious. Thanks crew!

I was ordering the #17, I wanted no mayo or tomato though, which I said to the drive-through person. I also ordered a combo with my meal, I got my drink, and a bag of my food. After I was on my way home, I looked through my bag to see my sandwich, but no chips. The chips come with the combo, and after looking at the sandwich, it had mayo. They held the tomato, but added mayo when I said not to! Looking at the receipt, they charged me for the chips that I didn’t even get. And they failed to make my order, and instead of no mayo, they put no hot peppers, which I don’t even know where hot peppers came into play. The point is, they failed to take an order properly, and didn’t give me the chips for the combo. Money down the drain.

Very friendly staff, they even answered some questions on my app. Most restaurants don’t know how their apps work.

I absolutely love The Pepe (#1). I get it on the wheat bread and it is always very good. The staff is very nice and fun to talk to. They always greet you as soon as you get in the door. Keep up the good work JJ’s team.

I love Jimmy Johns food, however I have been all over the state of Minnesota and never had an issue with delivery. Now I am in Alexandria MN for awhile and I am 5.2 miles according to google maps on main roads and highways to get to where I am at. In the twin cities this would be a no nothing delivery. But what did the person say when I called them on the phone. They are restricted to 4 miles in a town that is spread out almost in a 10 mile radius. Clearly Jimmy Johns does not want the business which makes me and my family very sad. I will be second guessing myself when I go to a different town and think about ordering from here again. You are a very foolish company for not taking the entire town into your delivery area, and if need charge for it. Everyone else does.
Update:in response to Jimmy Johns response, the fresh sandwich that was still hot from subway that door dash delivered from also 5miles away was tasty and fresh.
