If you want a sub, go to Subway in Cambridge instead. At the Cambridge location, for $9.00, you pretty much get bread and a little amount of things inside. I get that the picture on a website is never what you get but this was not even close. On top of that, the music was so loud my wife had to yell the order to the worker. It was extremely loud and very unpleasant.

Way overpriced. For two sandwiches and one beverage it was over $26.00 plus tax and then they have a tip jar. Since when does everybody expect a tip for just doing their job. The sandwich seems like they were skimping on meat and other ingredients.

Order online for no wait they say. I ordered online and got there 20 min later and waited another 15 min In the store as 5 new customers walked in ordered and got there food before me.. I guess I will be going to subway from now on.

Rude disinterested employees. I got 3 of the same sandwiches which are completely different sizes, the smallest being hardly bigger then a 6in. You do not get alot of food for the cost. Haven’t been impressed with the Cambridge location in the past & won’t be going there again or recommend it to anyone I know

Honestly, I get that you don’t want to make too much bread for that awful shrink margin, but whomever decided to not make enough bread for the day, needs to reevaluate their planning. We’ve had to change what we get our sandwiches on 3 visits just this summer not including the multiple times during the winter that we had too(fun fact the wraps SUCK when there’s not enough toppings to fill them). If I ran out of chicken or pizza dough 3 times during the summer with several hours being open to go, I would’ve been fired repeatedly.
I would suggest if you are going to order, make sure you go in and go early in the day because by 6pm, they are completely out of bread(doesn’t matter if you go on a Monday, Wednesday or Friday- they still run out early). I get that Cambridge is a smaller city, but to run out of bread before dinner rush is such horrible planning. When you hire a bunch of young adults and teens that don’t have the experience you need to actually train them correctly and not just tell them they are screwing up. TEACH THEM. Bread isn’t hard to make. It should be made throughout the day, multiple times a day if needed and you should always be proofing the next batch.
Your store would do a fantastic job and make a LOT more if they weren’t having to turn people away and the best substitute is the damn wraps. The portions need to be like the portions in the cities also. We should pay as much as we are for cold cuts when there’s not enough food to fill a child in them. Again, totally get that prices are going up, not saying we don’t understand it. Just gotta do better. The kids do not have the freaky fast/freaky good mentality either. I wanted to net my hair, wash my hands and jump behind the counter to get them caught up. You need a good DM to actually spend time with these guys. They want to do better, it’s obvious they do, but they need the experienced adult that can actually help them do so.

Not friendly service at all took way longer than expected for 3 sandwiches and they acted like 3 were just an astronomical amount to make.

Today my husband surprised me by bringing home lunch from Jimmy John’s. He asked what I wanted I used the app and had it made “my way” and by my way my husband knew he needed to express my gluten allergy when ordering to ensure I was safe. He said without skipping a beat the person taking the order demanded everyone to stop what they were doing after a gluten sandwich to wash their hands (even the cashier who couldn’t physically touch my food) and wipe down all areas. This extra level of service is beyond appreciated to someone who would suffer head to toe massive body inflammation.

While this process occurred someone behind my husband (didn’t hear him order gluten free) started making disgruntled comments about not being freaking fast! The front counter person kindly reminded this individual that they were doing all they could to make a customer feel safe due to an allergy and that the person ordering it was also in the store. That person looked at my husband and stopped his attitude because of how professional the counter person handled the situation.
Freaky fast is important but so is customer service, so is respect, and so is repeat customers! I will hands down go out of my way in the future to order from this location knowing they valued me as a customer rather than seeing me as a pain so that I wasn’t in pain!
This entire team should be recognized by corporate ensuring Jimmy John’s is a remarkable business for all who patron! These teammates went above and beyond my level of expectation and should be honored for talking simple requests and holding themselves to high standards!

Thank you Jimmy John’s Superhero’s! I appreciate you!

(Order was placed inside to go around 12pm today September 19th at Cambridge MN location)

I brought my Mom here today because she had never been to Jimmy John’s. I have to say the experience from walking in the door and being greeted in a very friendly manner by the great group of young people working today really made my day. They had amazing music also! The employees were top notch and if course the food was literally the best sandwich I’ve ever had. Won’t get a sandwich anywhere else. Thank you guys for the hospitality, and the great food! Keep up the great work you are doing.
