A really chill place with chill employees. There are a bunch of jokes and words of encouragement on the walls. One particular one is in the bathroom on the floor that talks about the plant Uranus. And it has a list of like 20 different facts and it’s really funny to read. The sandwiches are good too. You can choose a little john sandwich which is great for kids, I think it’s like 4″ long. Then there is the traditional 8″ which is the standard or a giant that is 16″. Recently JJ’s started offering the sandwiches getting toasted. And at the beginning of March they brought out more sandwiche options. The vegetables are freshly cut in shop and so is the meat and cheese. And for you ranch lovers they have traditional ranch and they brought back kickin ranch

I just went to Jimmy John’s in Oskaloosa on the way to Brighton, so one of the last places to get food. I have a chronic illness and CANNOT eat meat so I always chose a Jimmy John’s to be safe. I got kg veggie sandwich and there was turkey in the wrapper ON TOP of the sandwich, which is what my partner said in the drive thru when we went back. To me, it seemed as though they picked turkey off because they accidentally messed up the sandwich, which happens. But, I am not going to risk eating meat, 5 hours from home, and get sick for multiple days. While they were remaking the sandwich the drive thru window was left open and I could hear the employees talking badly about me and repeatedly saying there was no turkey. I didn’t think remaking a sandwich with 5 ingredients would be a huge deal especially when it was due to an illness but here we are. I know working in food service is frustrating, but look at the bigger picture and remember a lot of people aren’t out here just to make your evening harder. Do better.

I have been to many Jimmy John’s from Seattle to Iowa. I had my worst JJ sandwich at a different JJ in Iowa and I’ve had THE BEST JJ sandwiches at THIS Jimmy John’s! I’m voting this Oskaloosa JJ the BEST in the country!

The staff was amazing. My team and I came in after a tournament and the staff was so kind and so fast. We got out food shortly after ordering and everyone seemed so friendly. The store was very clean.

This place sucks. There’s nothing Jimmy John’s offers that couldn’t be had at home for 1/4 the cost. I paid over $18 for less than $4 of poorly assembled slop.

Let’s be real. Great sub but it’s fast food. Uurm.. sorry, FREAKY fast food. The bread is good. The veggies and meats are good. The condiments are better at the competitor. No sandwich joint has a great atmosphere. It’s clean at this location, which is nice. Nothing ground breaking that separates itself from any other sandwich restaurant. Don’t let this deter you from Jimmy John’s. They’re a solid choice for a quick bite.

I wanna blame the speaker system. They usually get my order wrong but it’s minor, as in forget to cut in half, but this time I was given the wrong sandwiches entirely and when I called to find out what happened I was told it was my fault. Hopefully the speaker gets clearer, I used to love this place.

I placed an order for delivery over an hour in advance. My time came and went. I called to see what was going on ans instead of great customer service, the phone got passed around until a manager picked up. She was rude and said my apt doesn’t exist. Really?? I live here! No one has ever had an issue finding my apt and its not difficult. I was waiting outside for it and no one drove by. Then she said they would be on their way. 20 minutes later I call again and said to forget it I want a refund. The guy on the phone didn’t know what to even say excep “shes probably delivering other orders”…I placed an order for it to be delivered 30 mins prior and you’re gonna tell me she’s delivering other orders first?! Terrible customer service. I’ve been a manager before and I know that your employees attitudes are a reflection of the managers training and attitude. They really need help over there.
